Love your videos! But...I think there may be a small mistake in this one. The instructions say to shutdown all of the S1 ports not assigned to a VLAN. Many of the ports you gave the "shutdown" command were assigned to a VLAN. I think you were only supposed to shutdown Fa 0/1-5 and G 0/2. Am I wrong?

Yes You are correct. Shutdown only Fa 0/1-5 and G0/2. All my viewers make this change. Thank you

Why do we have to encapsulate the native vlan on the R1 as we did on the S1?

Great Explanation. But I have some question how about if I only want communication between VLAN10 to Server, VLAN20 to server, VLAN30 to server but, for for communication between VLAN10 to VLAN20 or VLAN20 to VLAN30 or VLAN10 to VLAN30 not allowed.

why is vlan 99 on S1 changed to up and not other vlans?

Initially there will be a small delay in communication. It may processing ARP and other convergence!

Mine only has 87% but I can ping all pcs at the end.
