Our principal weekly Holy Eucharist anchors our worship life and prepares us for the week ahead. The Cathedral’s soaring architecture will point your eyes toward heaven as prayers, preaching and music open our hearts to God. Our worship is based on the traditions of The Episcopal Church and features beloved hymns, a hybrid blend of traditional and contemporary music and the best in Cathedral preaching. All who seek a deeper relationship with God in Christ are welcome to receive Communion.

I'm a gay mexican man struggling between the roman catholic faith I grew with and still love and believe, and feeling drawn to the Episcopal Church/anglicanism in trying to reconcile my faith and my sexuality. I love both the National Cathedral and the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception both in D.C. I'll just say that I've heard the beautiful song My Shepherd Will Supply My Need with the Thomson arrangement by the choirs of both churches and both choirs are just beautiful. Pray for me that I may find peace in my heart.

God's love is NEVER limited and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Millions of gay men and women follow Christ because they understand that his love is UN-conditional!! Blessings!

Carlos, it's not something of yours requiring reconciliation with Christianity (therefore of course it's something of some other Christians requiring reconciliation) - "I may be able to speak the language of men and of angels but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching, I may have all knowledge & understand all mysteries, I may have all the faith needed to move mountains, but if I have no love, I am nothing." (1 Cor. 13 1-2 GNT)

We love the cathedral and worship with you along with our own two churches , St. Luke’s Vancouver, Wa and Grace Memorial , Portland, Or , both Episcopal. We especially love the music but miss the former soloists. Blessings to all of you. Claudia Frahm
