Thanks for making this video, much appreciated.
Thanks for the insight. Liked the simplistic approach. Working on 08 xjr coupe. Slightly different set up but similar accessibility issues
Ďakujem za video moc si mi pomohol
This has been very helpful, I have this motor in my 03 jag s type R. Changing the throttle body out this weekend & will use this video as my guide. Thanks again. Might use this for the super charger at a later date also 👍👍👍
Great video best iv seen for this job I'm doing my snout bearings at some point and this has been helpfull
Thanks for the video. Way better than alldata.
Thank you! I have check now P0441 and I have to clean or change evap valve.I just don't know how to get to this valve because it's behind the throttle above the transmission basket.RRS 2006 4.2 sc.I was trying do it twice but couldn't:(
you don’t need to remove the water passages at all to remove supercharger, the pulley fits right through the hole with some wiggling
Thanks for the video. I’ve got a nasty squealing sound on acceleration over 2500-3000 rpm on my 2008 4.2 SC 134k mi when in Drive (not as loud or prevalent when shifting manually). Thinking its the snout bearings but still no major idle noise (perhaps a slight knock/tick). I replaced idler and tensioner pulleys and have all new belts. New ac compressor & condenser too. Other than snout bearings, is there much else to consider on the supercharger that could cause this? I dont get the noise when downshifting (no accelerator input) but this would be normal. And when downshifting the engine and tranny sound great. I want this healthy sound all the time! Thanks
Thanks for posting this. I have a 08 SC and this might come in handy some day. What exactly had to be done to the SC? Replace just the pulley or also some bearings? My car runs great and I love driving it. Some minor issues like intermittent wipers don't work and driver's seat back cooling not working. I also get an intermittent CEL: Low catalyst efficiency, left bank. Car runs fine though. Merry Christmas and have a good 2021. PS: you can download the L322 service manual from the net and it is pretty good.

The snout bushing was shot, causing a rattle at idle, you can see it in the second video, while it had it out i did all the bearings and seals. I would start with a tube up, i often find that fixes alot of cat issues. Merry Christmas!🎄

6 hrs is about what it took me. This was actually my first time doing to Job. Next time I will explore that option further as it was the hardest part lol
Hey there, this is a great video and I am in the process of gathering all these parts. I have the new coupler kit from eBay but all of these parts you list do not seem to be Land Rover part numbers. Where did these part numbers come from? I've tried google and a couple of them cross reference but several do not. I even went to my local Range Rover dealership and they do not recognize these part numbers. Can you help?

thats really weird, but i have gone though it and have updated the list, let me know if you need help with anything else. i must have gotten them from 1 particular site that no longer exists, as i tried to make it so people could get all the parts from as few vendors as possible.
Hey is there any chance you continued and replaced the hoses under the charger while you had it out? I need to replace that on mine and would love to see it if you have pictures or a video of that also. Just a thought on that coolant manifold you struggled to get out. Couldn't you just separate it at the thermostat and move the piece out of the way rather than removing the whole thing? I mean, it's a good thing to replace those o-rings...

I sorry but I did not
I have a hose that is ripped from what seems like behind the left side of the engine if your face towards the engine, cant see it, not sure if I have to do all this process just to replace that hose. antifreeze

Alldatadiy.com should help you out. It's the same program professionals use. Expect you pay for all the info on just 1 car
Do you have a video on how to replace the fuel injectors?

Out, rebuilt and back in was about 6 hours. Not to bad considering this was the 1st one i had done
how come your doing this? got any lean code experience with this engine?
@nsigarage5212

No codes, top end had a clattering sound at idle, dealer misdiagnosed as timing chains. In the second video it shows the super charger breakdown and were the noise is coming from

I was wondering why my car is completely different from the engine compartment? I've also 4.2 SC -06 Range Rover Sport. I don't have as much space there than you have in this video.

I have never seen anyone covert one to a super charged version, in my honest opinion for all the time and money needing in that, not to mention idk if things like the axles or transmission, cooling systems, wiring harness, computers ect. I think the best idea would be to buy one that was super charged from the factory. Or try to find a company that makes a kit

I know. It was my first video. It's a bit rough with just a web cam with a 20ft cable to a laptop, however if you would be kind enough to check out some of the other range rover video you will see thst has been greatly corrected
