I was gonna go with 4.10s but found a great deal on a built rear with 3.73 gears. I have a 97gt and the new edge rear is 1/2 wider on both sides which is what i was looking for. I drove 4hrs one way and picked it up. Liking the content.just subscribed. My channel is based on my 97gt so i see a lot of your content being relatable.

The stock SN95 GT isn't the best on gas mileage but I do wonder what kind of gas mileage you get with a gear ratio upgrade to 3.73 or 4.10. I'm also curious as to whether it's better to leave the gear ratio at stock and add a supercharger. It's my understanding that doing both ends up with traction issues.

Sweet video. I have a 4.6 2v as well, but it's an auto, and it's a lincoln town car. I have the stock 327 ⚙️ gears. And at 100mph, it's only at 3k rpm. Wonder what it would be like with the 4.10 gears. I do have a jmschip by pedalmax. Man, that helps out a lot with the acceleration. It doesn't add any power. But it definitely stops the drive by wire delay. I've had co workers in my car, and they all ask me what have I had done to my car. The only mods I have on my car are 1. Jmod 2. 2 1/2 inch piping from the cars into a X pipe out through a Roush axle back exhaust 3. A jmschip by pedalmax 4. A P71 air box assembly. 5. 20 inch chrome rims with tire size being 255/37

Yes gear ratio wise, the only issue you may run into is because 1st is so short the transmission can often not shift fast enough into second before you run out of rpm so you'll redline for a second or two, before going into second gear. I believe a tune can help with the shift points.
