Simply put, there are just brawlers that you’ll never get to rank 30 with by playing with randumbs, for example, I main piper, and for about 70% of my time I was maining her I was stuck in the trophy range from 750 to 850. During this time I mastered piper on two accounts and on average all my other brawlers improved by 150 trophies, eventually piper wasn’t even my highest anymore. I then took a moment to actually think what was going wrong and I came to the conclusion that it’s literally impossible to push a rank 30 piper with randumbs. So I went ahead and planned out every perfect comp for every map I thought a rank 30 push was possible on, and I got rank 30 almost immediately. Now when I say it’s impossible I’m not just saying that because I’m bad, I didn’t have my team to help win the game to keep me from being reset below 999 so I had to play with randumbs, I played basically perfect piper gameplay, even wrecking a rank 30 Nani twice, just for my randumbs to keep dying. The sooner you accept that you can’t do it alone the sooner you’ll get results

Its mostly to do with range, NORMALLY a mid has longer range, and plays more passive, whilst lanes can try and go more agressive. its quite hard to explain to be honest with you lol.

Countering is like a Brawler that has a good matchup vs another Brawler that they should win, such as, Gale twister gadget counters mortis, because he can’t get any damage if the gale is standing in the gadget :) I hope this helps
