This was really good. Much of this makes sense outside of double hydra den and lair Hydra dont have many upgrades, and neither does lair, but I guess money isn't your main resource; time is. The faster the better perhaps. Double spire would make sense since air upgrades take approximately 6 million years

Definitely true. This build essentially sets you up for a strong mid to late game where Hydras can be pumped out like crazy. The timing of the hydras are built in order to defend against Storm drops / Tank drops / Muta bomb and soforth. I do agree with the double spire, but the more I play as zerg, I realized getting faster guardians vs faster upgrades for mutas may be better initially. But that can also be a personal preference to use more mutas than more drops / guardians

I may have replays or it may be part of some of the games in the full stream. Usually there are hints that toss is going for drops, 1. around 7mins ish there is no zealot leg upgrade, 2. you see a shuttle or HT. 3 Toss isn't pushing out to center

That map is still around. Though, this map has become a bit more popularized ever since remastered came out due to the Koreans favoring this map than the other ones

I don’t really get it. How would you defend in the first 5 minutes? I always get 3+ zealots or 15 marines in and spend my minerals on mass sunken

You defend using sunkens. And your gas timing also is dependent on whether you built mass sunkens or not. Typically, you start sunken when you see zealots leavinh their base. 3 zealots can beat 1 sunken.

Yes, I have the same question. By the time you start building units any terran players could have attacked you with lots of rines and sunken would have been completely overwhelmed.

@@ketedenporkul0 If anyone attacks you before you can start building units, you need to prioritize on making sunkens first. Spending money on sunkens and then spending money on hydras would be the priority. If you watch my other Zerg videos, there are games where I have a slower gas timing because people are attacking early on. This video is to demonstrate the basic build orders for people to follow. ^^

How many Drones on minerals total?

About 50 on minerals. Total you want ~70 workers and then you want to maintain about 40-50 towards late game

Lucky no combined rush against you otherwise gg. Zerg super vulnerable early game but once economy and hatches up its almost gg if player pumps hydras/lurks and does a muta main run

You can just join any lobby that hosts "New Super Fastest Map"

If you build like this u really depend on your team mates to defend u. If u play 7 hatch without sunkens I would have rushed you long time ago. It’s not realistic to play this on high level. U can take risk and play 3 hatch pool, two sunken, 2 gas, hydra den 2 or 3 more hatch and pump with 30 minions

Well, each game is different on its own. The reason I didn't make any sunkens is because no one sent out any units to me. This video was to demonstrate what is an efficient build order for a public game. Additionally, in a high-level game, the builds are different where you would either go: 9 Pool speed, overpool speed, 2 hatch speed, or over hatch speed.
