my band is gonna be competing a PMEA(Pennsylvania Music Education Administration) concert band competition in Hershey, PA this May, and this is the piece my director has chosen.

Love this piece! Excellently performed, although the percussion is a little bit loud for my liking.

@itsTiLER and she decide to tell us last week that she is retiring. ahdfknaklgja. i'm a senior next year. great. new director.

@will4562 Interesting lol. But yeah, my "... 3th?" comment was really addressing the fact that it said 3th instead of 3rd. :P

Well,this is a record in a Church where the percussion stood at the alter. thats why :( I hated it to,and i said to the recorder guy that it would loud bad. Terrebly bad!

@DiscoveredMusic ha yeah no kidding. i had to play this (im a bass clarinet player) and oh man second movement is soooooo dull.

Yay, bass clarinet! (not) Might as well have written "tacet" for the waltz, and "tuba" for mvt I and III.

Playing this in band and it's a good piece if you don't butcher it.

Yeah you're only right about him being funny. If you don't know what a rondo is then yo shouldn't really comment on anything musical without studying it. First off, the first movement is called a march because if you could the phrases in 2, you can March to it. It just sounds like it's in 2 time signatures. The second movement is a waltz also for the same reason. The feel is 3/4 2/4 but if you line up all of the phrases correctly they make up 3/4. The last on is definitely a rondo. Lookitup
