econitWood™ integrates ecological responsibility with digital design, through a wood particle bed technology that enables zero-waste manufacturing of intricate large scale shapes. This system uses underutilized regional raw wood in an industrial setup, enhancing it with mineral binders from the construction industry to create a carbon negative (-85kg/m3) material that aligns with building and fire safety regulations. The Selective Binder Activation technology allows for the large scale (4x2,5x1meter) and fast (2m3/hour) industrial production of architectural wood products that are precise (1mm resolution), free in form and exhibit excellent mechanical properties.
