If you know how to create the illusion of of depth in art you know that glasses are not needed for 3d effects. How you overlap your shapes and how you use color and light matter more in my opinion. In other words its all about how you plan your composition

Close one of your eyes. This restricts your ability to determine the distance of objects, so an object on a 2D plane that’s getting larger can look 3D.

Close one of your eyes. This restricts your ability to determine the distance of objects, so an object on a 2D plane that’s getting larger can look 3D.
this is an interesting technique for depth perception. probably better for a final product to not have the bars, but seems like a solid aid in getting it right
