Miss Angie thank your for the prints they are beautiful! I have a question though…. I have the sawgrass 1000 and when I print out the prints there were lines in them. Do I need to do something to my printer??

The sawgrass has a maintenance area and you can print sheets with just the ink colors. Print a few of those and try again.

Can you get this effect with Sublimation transfer sheets since I do not own a sublimation printer?

I always use the time and temperature that is recommended by where I purchase the tumbler.

Great video as always

I've watched a few of your videos now and find them so helpful though I do have one question I'm mostly looking to make alot of the glass tumblers frosted and clear would you recommend the tumbler press for this as I was pretty close to getting the cricut mug press

I do not do any glass in the Cricut mug press so I would recommend something else if that is what you want to make.

I'm wondering since this video have you tried any 3D projects that have a white background? I'm trying to make an ornament that has a white background with 3D effects and I bought two different designs from two different Etsy sellers. No matter what I do the 3D effects (shadowing) comes out looking burnt. I'm not burning it, the rest of the design is fine it's just the 3d effect. I would love some help on figuring out what I'm doing wrong. Other sublimations are perfect it's just the one with the 3D effects.

I would try a lower time and temperature anyway!

just starting sublimation and watch all your videos over and over to get the courage :) I do have a question about something you mentioned/did here - basically heating the item twice after moving to get all sides... can't you end up overheating it and ruining the print? or is that not really an issue with the mug presses (vs oven) - ty for all the great videos and info

I did it & it came out beautifully! Still looks 3D. I used the Sublimation DTF hack because my shirt is cotton. Great results!

Can these be put in the dishwasher or microwave after sublimation?

Generally sublimation is dishwasher and microwave safe. For the dishwasher, you want to do top rack only and no high heat or sanitize cycles. However, you never want to put tumblers in the dishwasher as you can break the seal. For the microwave, you will want to check with each blank to make sure it is microwave safe.

Definitely! It would work on any sublimation blank! I would find a 3D design that has a white background for a tshirt and not these design in particular!
