Not only are your models great, but your assembly video style and editing is perfect. Everything is explained perfectly without being overly wordy.

Thank you, that means a lot. I appreciate the kind words!!!
Nice one again. Anyone bitching about using glue has never tried to design something with more than two pieces.

On things I design I normally design for screws/bolts because I'm really bad at commitment, and it's easy to service/ I'm very noncommittal. I'm pretty sure if he did that people would lose their minds if they're crying over glue 😂

@@gunsmoke132 I actually prefer screws over glue lol, coz I only have to buy more screws from Amazon!
Sweet vault thanks for sharing!
Amazing work again! I am looking forward to printing my own version.
Thank you, you have once again shown a very nice design.
Thank you so much loved share the one I made my special needs son loves it thank you
Mate 🤯 that is one awesome design. My printers were sadly quiet today and I didn’t know what to print, this is definitely getting started tomorrow. 👍🇦🇺😊

Thank you! Good luck, I'd love to see a photo on Printables or Makerworld when you're done 😎
This looks great! I am going to give this a try on my new A1 printer. Thank you for all the effort!

THANK YOU!!!
Great design, and thanks for making models with loose tolerances.
YES! So excited to print this one! Thanks Rocco.

Looks great 😊👍🏻
nice job! Design for manufacturing is something that seems obvious but is rarely done. You made a nice example of how it can be done! This is your first vid I've watched and just subscribed for future content!

Good work as usual

it would be kind of cool to have one that puts the large gear at the front and it looks like a animated sun, with counter rotating and randomly extending sun rays. Like an animated alchemical sun or the halo of a saints in catholic art.
Ty, great model.
Very good job !!! Thank you
great job

Very nice design 👍😎👍
I am going to print this today. I agree a little glue never hurt anyone. Just thing what they would do if they ever put together one of my level 3 or 4 car models. This is a piece of cake when it comes to glue compared to those. I will post my finished product on MakerWorld. I have a P1S that I will be using.
Very cool!

Very cool, thank you.
Very clever ✌️
Hey, in terms of parts fitting together on one printer and not so much on the other, I'd suggest you look into flow calibration for both the printers, and the extrusion multiplier of all the materials used. After I've done this precisely for both my Ender 3 and Voron printers, the deviation in tolerances between the two got very small, and I can easily fit parts printed on both
I blame Adam Savage for KZread recommending me this video. I hope he sees it.

It's much easier to print and a lot faster to assemble
Making this currently my ender 3v3 se. My tolerances are just a bit off everything needs just a bit of sanding. Which i knew because my tolerance coin only worked to 1.5.
My printer is a little too small, Flashforge Adventurer 3. But if i scale down 6% It fits, but then i'm guessing the bearing wont haha. I can get away with scaling down everyting but the box 2% and the box 6% and then maybe i can glue the lid on top of the box instead of inside it?
I like it!

Hi, is this modeled in fusion? Do you have some tips on how to design such complicated mechanism s, or maybe a tutorial? The design is very impressive
If people have issues, they can do it themselves.
I haven’t downloaded it or printed it yet but I boosted it because I know it’s good, I’ll eventually print it, also I had some expiring boosts. 😂

Very cool designs--thanks for sharing! Anyone who complains about your designs should offer up their own to show you how its done. I'd be surprised to see it happen though, KZread is packed with armchair experts.
Great! What filament did you used for the box?
@RoccosStuff

Thanks! It is Prusament PLA "Blend my silverness". It prints really well and has a great sheen, but it's pretty pricey

@@RoccosStuff Thank you! It looks great! Is there any filament better than Prusament that you ever used? Or Prusament is the best?
Does it really need a bearing for such a subtle movement?

It's probably not totally necessary, but it definitely makes it super smooth. Plus, if I did some sort of 3d printed connection, I would be worried about tolerances and make it on the looser side. I may experiment with non-baring joints in the future. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You didn’t even try it out lol, you shoud do that 😂

Lol fair point.... 🤣
There's nothing wrong with glue, but there is nothing wrong with dialing it in for friction fit either... It's everyone's job who owns a 3d printing to make sure their settings are dialed in to print accurately on their machine and with all filaments they use.

Yup. Nothing wrong with using inserts and screws (or even just screwing into the plastic) either. Or with building fasteners into the parts, using the outer parts to hold inner ones together, or even designing parts to be assembled during the print. Unless printing in ABS or similar plastics that can be glued very strongly with plastic glue, I'd only consider glue as a last resort.
that's really cool and nifty looking as a toy.....but also mildly ironic, because it's a safe... meant to safeguard and protect. I've yet to see a plastic 3d print that couldn't be broken open with either a moderate drop to the ground, or a swift whack from either a baseball bat or a hammer. even metal 3d prints I've seen are incredibly weak compared to the original counterparts and I've watched a decent amount of videos on them by now, both fine parts and larger parts are weaker than say a milled wrench or a machined screw. again i like the intricacy and details and all,but it's just ironic to me is all.

Thanks for watching and commenting! You're right, this is a vault-inspired toy but definitely not a safe. I have designed other vaults which have locks, and those are still easy to break but it's meant as a fun project or interesting toy. I definitely wouldn't recommend using a 3d printed box for anything important lol!
