    Hi, you can assign different layers to front and back, first add a new layer, add whatever effects you want to it, then in shatter - texture settings select it as back layer and choose effects & masks property next to it.

    If you add a camera into the composition and use the setting to control with comp camera, you can rotate the camera after centering the view. Parent camera to a null object, makes it even easier to animate.

  • @SmertimbaGraphics

    @SmertimbaGraphics

    In that case you should add a camera layer, then a null object, make it 3d and parent the camera to the null, then animate Y rotation on the null object, it will make it rotate evenly on all sides

    @@SmertimbaGraphics I somewhat found a solution. I think the problem is that my logo is white and the side color I tried to do was a dark grey/black. Sadly not with this method, try a different tutorial, better if you have element 3d plugin

    Is there a way to make both sides the same, rather than one dark? or add a different image?

    You can choose any color for the side, it does not have to be darker than the front or back. Adding a different image to the back would require additional steps. It's a bit tricky, but possible. add the same logo file(or whatever it is) right click, transform, flip horizontal, then precompose the flipped logo and turn off its visibility, then in textures settings set back layer to that flipped/hidden layer and it should work

    Thank you, this is easy way but I am facing an issue when we add the shatter effect to layer. When I made the layer to rotate the top and bottom part is cut when it's rotating. How to fix that?

    Did you adjust the scale of the layer? it might be cutting off if the layers scale is set too high

    Is there any way to make the logo not horizontally flipped when it rotates? My logo has text, so when it flips to the backside of it the letters are backwards - thanks!

    For this try a different method like this one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6KX0Nehd9jgpqg.html Works with any logo, but it is a bit more work to do😁

    Great tutorial! I am having a slight problem however, the 3D image that i've animated has some tearing in it, like a flickering white line. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I actually just figured out that it's the extrusion depth causing it to flicker. So I have to leave it as a thin object rather than one with depth for now. Thank you so much for the tutorial by the way, it's really helped me out!@@SmertimbaGraphics
