This video game was created not only for the entertainment of your cat, but also for the purpose of a scientific experiment. Thanks to it, we will be able to study the structure of the cat's brain (cat's vision, hunting instinct, dopamine production and much more). Each element of this video has a specific purpose and based on scientific research. For example, for the background, we use blue, green, and gray colors because the cat's vision distinguishes blue, green, and gray colors better than others. This happened as a result of evolution and helps cats hunt mice and birds in green grass, on gray stones and against a blue sky. The video is recorded at 60 frames per second because cats see more frames per second than humans, their time is slower compared to ours, they see everything that happens as in slow motion. That's why they have faster reactions than humans. Modern scientists say that cats are able to see about 40 frames per second, with lower framerate they see a change of static pictures instead of smooth video. Show this game to your cat in 4k or 1080p (all the videos are in 60fps). Also in this video, the sound is made stereo panoramic to increase the realism of the picture.
We will also make 3 versions of each video: isometric, top view and side view. This is necessary in order to find out at what angle it will be more interesting for the cat to follow the prey.
And you can help us in our experiment
1) Show your cat all three versions of the video (top, front, isometric) and write a comment which one he liked more
2) Write down what moment of the lizard movement caused your cat the most interest
3) Write how your cat reacts to the sounds the lizard makes

My cat is obsessed with this video. All I have to do is hit play and she comes running out of nowhere to watch. She knows the sound.
My Cat Micha will spend up to 45 minutes engaging with this video, he really seems to enjoy chasing the lizard. If I leave it on he will come and go through the day and watch.

Best way to keep cats busy. I bought a chromecast dongle and put on old TV. I now floor, and they love it! I just cast from my phone, and they play till they get tired.

My cat is a Florida child, and her all time favorite thing is hunting lizards. She is going ape, now, trying to find them under the phone!
My 1-year-old female cat loves the isometric view of the lizard. She has watched intently for as long as 20 minutes, though now that she is more familiar with it, she generally watches for only a couple of minutes until the lizard goes off the left side of the screen, which is, in her mind, toward our back door. She has caught three real lizards coming through the back door, and it is apparent that she thinks the video lizard is headed for the door and she wants to catch it. She regularly comes to me and makes it clear that she wants to watch. I have not yet shown her the other views, but I can't imagine anything grabbing her attention better than this one!!

I showed her the sparrow on green and she was not at all interested. The grasshopper only intrigued her for a few minutes, even with the sound on. She likes the fish, but not for long. I'll show her the mouse next - she likes mice.

I have a question if anyone care to reply. I play this video for my cat and she loves it. However, I feel pity for her because no matter how hard she tries to catch the gecko, but it’s not real (no physical). My question is, does this make our cat disappointed/stressed?
