I have so many old brusho card fronts & I never knew what to do with them. Once I made them they were just there. That's it. Now I've got new fronts to make my cards. Thanks for given us this opportunity to make great cards.

I’m so glad! A lot of people use the Joseph’s Coat technique too, either putting the black ink on the top of the embossing folder so the ink gets pushed into the recessed areas when it’s run through the machine or use a black alcohol ink marker to color in the recessed areas. Sandi MacIver has a great video showing that.
That ugly backrounf looks beautiful with this technique. Thanks for sharing this great idea!

Gotta get on this technique as it is stunning. It is comparable to the technique of coloring in the background with a black sharpie pen. I like this one better as the filling in the background not only takes forever but uses a bit of ink and is a ton less time consuming. You have me sold on this beautiful card!

Try applying the black ink to the flat inside of your embossing folder and run your coloured card through right away. It will evenly apply to the background.

Oh, yes I attach them to cards. Each of these are 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” which is a standard US size card. You can buy precut blank cards and envelopes at a craft store or on line and glue these panels to the blank cards. Or you can buy heavy weight cardstock and cut and fold your own blank cards.
Well, isn’t that amazing?
