Thank you, Janice, I may run out of things to share though😂😂😂 once my well goes dry🤣🤣. Yeah, my attitude is I can share every single thing I know and it doesn’t hurt me or make me vulnerable because one or someone has to be able to do it themselves!!! So no loss for me here. I just hope that if somebody directly takes something I do or use they give me at least some acknowledgment though. That is the proper thing to do.

@@LouiseMcKayArt I acknowledge that your recipe for the American Floetrol worked when nothing else did and you helped me establish that using a scale and tightening up on consistency of paints is very important, at least until your good enough to eyeball it. Just lovely, I think I am going back to the American Floetrol recipe (yours) as the Australian does not seem to be better to me, not enough to justify the price.
@LouiseMcKayArt
9 күн бұрын
Thank you, Janice, 😘that’s exactly how I feel, they’re kind of interchangeable to me, but if I had to pick I would go with the American. The Australian definitely help me out in the winter time when it was cooler in the art room.
As I have “said” many times, you are a wonderful teacher. Can you help me. I cannot blow to make a bloom (due to medical issues, not smoking related!) The straw is not strong enough and the hair dryer is too much. I have a mini dryer but it doesn’t seem to have any strength, whether I use attachments or not. Am I just out of luck to make blooms? I have been trying to find alternatives techniques that roughly resemble a bloom. I’ll bet I am not alone in having this challenge. … Thank you for all that you so freely offer us. You are under no obligation to share anything you do! But, you do! We all appreciate you!

Hi Louise, I would love to use your CA recipe. I am in the UK and have got a good combination of ingredients that are working well but use Australian floetrol. It would be so much cheaper for me to buy American floetrol and use your recipe but will it work well with my ingredients here in the UK. I know thats a really hard question for you to answer but do you find your recipe pretty good with other ingredients you may use in the US. Thanks Liz
