An incredibly useful tip that I don't think many people know about, that I just learned a couple of days ago that I use frequently now because my current main base is in a snowy biome, you can instantly destroy "Powdered Snow" with "Water". So if you're building in a snow biome surrounded by dangerous Powdered Snow, just carry a water bucket and repeatedly drop the water around you in the area you're clearing out to instantly destroy the Powdered Snow.

I just started on a snow biome found that for a cane farm you have to place your water under glass blocks to keep from freezing and can use lava under a glass block to keep the snow melted

Number 31 (18:23) only works on Java, as you can see in the video in Bedrock edition the potions throw slightly backwards, so you either have to throw them a bit forward or walk backward in order to have the potion land on your head and get the maximum duration. Diamond ore is less likely to spawn on the surface of a cave, so while you are seeing many more blocks, you will also have to travel further to collect the same number. big fan of the backport+ (there’s some person flavor additions too) mod ‘netherlicious’ for 1.7.10 because the point of striders not being able to cross water is ‘fixed’ (idk if i’d want this in vanilla, but i always like seeing features get more purpose 😛). i don’t even think they shiver there, they’re not hydrophobic at all, but neither are the piglins converted to zombified when you take them to the over world. *tl;dr* (not sponsored) is play older versions on modded if you can, you can (in most cases) play around with a lot of the newer features thanks to backport mods like et futurum and netherlicious, all the while playing around with older stuff that hasn’t updated in a while. ik most of this has nothing to do with the video but i love striders and i thought i’d mention a neat way for a small portion of players to experience them

for someone who has to work irl a lot and has very little time to play (AND has never beat the ender dragon and desperately wants to) i just started a world with a stronghold at spawn because otherwise there is a high chance i'll never get to it otherwise. it only has 1 eye, so i still have to fill it out, but usually the distance from my spawn base is enough to burn me out trying to even reach the damn thing. now i can focus on all the other prep and maybe actually have a chance to face the dragon this time around. i also have a terrible habit of deleting worlds when the game updates - this seed is SO perfect for me i'm determined to keep it for years if i can. wish me luck!

It will spew out a massive patch of breath every few seconds at least 3 or 4 times, each time you can fill up up to 40 bottles(keep holding left mouse button even if it seems it's all gone, there's probably a few bottles worth left there). I filled a double chest with it that way, more then enough to last forever.

“Fake degrees” This is a hill I will always choose to die on. If we’re talking about weather, Fahrenheit just makes more sense. It’s basically a 0-100 scale with 0 being really cold and 100 being really hot. 105° sounds hot. 70° sounds balmy. 35 sounds cold. 0 sounds really cold. Celsius? Not at all. 45° is melt your face off hot, and 0 is just freezing. Then you get into the negatives which go wild. Like somehow -10F is -24C or something like that. It’s just too big of a unit. It would be like measuring the dimensions of your living room in miles. “Ah yes that back wall is .0037mi.” Like just use a smaller unit so you don’t have to change clothes for every decimal point your C Thermometer goes up or down.
