    Hi Dan. From a guy that wanted to be a truck driver but didn't, I love your videos. I can't say on here who I work for but wanted you to know the state lockdowns are to slow people down and slow the spread. #1 proper hygiene, #2 keep washing your hands (sanitizer is the next best thing), #3 keep a distance (4-6 feet)from people to limit your exposure (thus the lock downs). Things will bounce back quickly in distribution. Certain industries (that you are involved in delivering) will most likely stay working as they are exempt due to being vital and necessary. If you feel symptoms, get checked by a doctor (not necessarily an emergency room right away). I'm guessing your Army training touched a bit on this type of thing. Stay safe. Praying for you, yours, and everyone effected by this.

Got about a hundred miles down the road and they called and ask me to go on home with it and bring it back Monday morning. The place I was going was closing down for a while. I’ve been pretty busy myself. This is the first time anything with situations has effect any of my loads. Be safe out there.

  • @cleckler2935

    @cleckler2935

    Charlie I agree the directions aren’t always great and shouldn’t be followed but the ability to get a birds eye view of a customer and also street view goes a long way to getting into a customers facility. Google maps is a truckers most helpful tool In my opinion. I use it multiple times a day.

    @@cleckler2935 Yep, I've been driving 27 years now. The best GPS out there is the new updated Google maps. Being able to view the street view of where you are delivering is great. Plus live traffic and now it even alerts and shows exactly where police or emergency vehicles are. Garmins and even Rand McNallys are garbage. Keep truckin! 🚛🚛🚛

    @@cleckler2935 This is the best way although I have encountered a trucker or two who couldn't seem to understand the satellite view. Some of the pictures might be a few years old but they're still usable. We had a guy that drove for us for 5 years and didn't know which directions were North, East South and West in our facility. Some people can get lost in a two stall bathroom.
