A great haul for £38! I feel like your money definitely stretches further if you shop at Lidl, though I do personally love Sainsbury's for a larger shop, simply for the scan and go.

Tip for the future…mushrooms freeze quite well…so I buy a big pack, use half and glean/chop the rest and freeze😀

I could do the same shop for that in Sainsburys, where is the meat , and Dairy other than some cheese ? Also if you think 2.39 is expensive for 2x fish fillets that's crazy . A just a FYI it's pronounced Bass A , A as in Apple not A as in Apex

Absolutely love your videos...I can relate so much as I'm in my 40's with a furry baby ❤ and love doing the budget shopping and see what you can get for £10...it's good fun. Now that’s my kinda shop!!! Tons of veggies and eggs/fish/lentils/legumes. Can I ask do you eat much meat? If so, how many evenings a week do you eat it? I’m trying to cut down on it due to costs and environmental reasons xx

I’ve not heard this one! Most fish contain something, some say don’t eat farmed salmon, they contain antibiotics, some say don’t eat wild salmon as they contain mercury. I think the issue is really that it comes from Vietnam , a long way! It’s not my fish of choice but my family love it. I think in the main we are just used to eating less river fish, it belongs to the cat fish family, but there is no reason (other than our polluted rivers) not to eat cat fish.It’s very tasty, I hope you enjoy it.
