Hello, Dave. I’m Shelia’s son. Me and you are cousins.
I was lucky enough to see Patsy down the cross for years .... had my ups and downs with Patsy over the years but a true legend with his heart on his sleeve .... his ability was second to none, what a guy ...... Respect ✊
What a legend Patsy is. He always did us proud. A great Cork City man.
What a player and good manager lucky to play under him for a bit at castle view he fell in training with us one night and couldn't get near him when he had the ball his first touch was something else. Well done tim and James great work ye are doing for the north side .
Week after week I watch the The Two Norries effortlessly create an ambience where their guests are relaxed and comfortable. This felt like I was watching 3 friends being reunited and catching up. Well done lads, keep going ❤
Dont follow football but I love hearing the stories of people like Patsy and his move of his sport and his community. Yes everything is hard work, the harder you work the luckier you get.
Well done to you all - really enjoyed this and I always knew Patsy would end up a referee because he was practicing for the 20 yrs he played not to mention when he was manager 😀. Thanks and as David said that was as relaxed as I ever saw Patsy in an interview.

Met patsy when I was out in blarney, had some good chats with him ,when of the soundest people I ever met
Great interview. Patsy was a very talented player, loved watching him play. Great to hear him looking back on his days with City and talking about clubs on the northside.
Patsy Freyne was one of the most gifted players I have ever seen play for Cork City.He had everything and was a great entertainer on the pitch. The Story Patsy tell about the lads from Bohs coming up to welcome him back will tell you that other teams knew how talented he was.Even Gazza knew it and that says it all.Great interview.
This was a lovely episode to listen to.3 cork fellas having a chat.really enjoyed this one.james and timmy, ye are always so genuine with the guests ⚽ brought back memories of my brother playing for cork city before he emigrated ⚽ lovely episode boyz

fair play u 3.great podcast i went to all of cork citys games when i was a kid.i was wandering why u hadnt mentioned pat Morley then u got to it in the end and it made sense u left him to last.u were such a good player urself patsy u helped us kids in st.marys on the hill school.i remember u teaching us and ur son was very good also at the time he was a bit younger than myself.dave barry ,john caulfield, morely, patsy freyne,,and cork keeper at the time think his nick name was biscuits.thanks lads really enjoyed this 1.well done 👏👏👍
Brilliant podcast again boys. Always heard great stories about patsy. Good to here it from the man himself.
Gazza story classic
Do ya know what I mean!
Very enjoyable. Have to say my only experience with Patsy was when i played against his son underage and he came across as an absolute lunatic from his antics on the line. Clearly a very passionate football man but more importantly a very decent person too. Well done Patsy, i know us Norries dont like to put ourselves out there but you spoke very well.
A city legend. I remember going to football crazy in the city and getting his name on the back of my shirt that i got in Finns corner. I was at the ireland v liverpool game in flower lodge , pity they lost that ground to the gaa.
Outstanding lads must say I really enjoyed it well done patsy for telling your story enjoyed every minute of it 👏👏👏👍
Great stuff lads keeps getting better week by week fair play to ye

Gent of a man👌 legend status no doubt
Great interview. I watched Patsy when he was one of the older lads at City. Great to hear his story and about his generation of players.
Cork City FC will again Rise up to fame in the Airtricity League of Ireland and reclaim top title winner's with strong player's
North side. ..thousand years of history from the Vikings all the way to shandon and and everything else ...hard core people. ..I am one ....
I’ve never met Patsy but my mum is his cousin which makes me his cousin. My mother moved to England from Cork when she was young and always stayed close to the family, especially Pasty’s sister.
A legend in his own right patsy city till I die and beyond
Andrew Mulcahy Happy days in Shandon View Patsy - nearly 50 years ago now. I’m living in Douglas now, so stop slagging the Southside. Patsy at schoolboys was the equivalent of Luka Modric - size wise and passing skill. A genius.
❤❤ a legend of cork city fc
Well done Patsy
Great podcast ⚽️👍
seen him play when i was 6 or 7 i think in about 96 or 97 4 all against shelbourne the cross was packed out of it some atmosphere in that stadium back in those days

Spot on. Was at that 4-4 game. December 1997. Cracking match.
Up the 20 Healy’s 😂😂
i heard something before that people who play sports for a good few years will basically have a lot of extra adrenaline when they stop playing kinda like increased fight or flight response probably a big reason why you hear a lot of ex players having addiction problems and stuff like that
Can you get hoggie on?
