Dude, this is an amazing video. First of all, sounds like you were just starting out when you’re talking in this video, because you’re asking for 75 likes, and you have nearly 1500. Secondly, you’re giving an amazing amount of information here, so new guys like myself want to say thank you. But seriously, I would never charge that amount. For that house I’d probably do between $575 and $675 in the Madison Wisconsin area. I’m subscribing. Great content! Except the first five minutes was a commercial of you doing Facebook ads for people. 😜 But seriously, much love and appreciation... 🙏🏻

@@jamescooperjr3303 check out more videos here on KZread from guys that do this, and you will see that they are talking about pricing things out per square footage, or linear footage if you do someone’s roof. Look for my folder here on KZread that says “pressure washing”, and you will see that I have kept a lot from different people that you can follow and learn from. And no, don’t do it by the hour, do it by the square foot or linear foot, for roofs. Go to my channel and click “playlists”, and scroll down in alphabetical order till you see “pressure washing”.

Use some fuel stabilizer to see if that helps start the unit up. I use it on my lawncare equipment and it helps to get things that won't start, started! $3.00/bottle at Home Depot!

love the video man, i have a similar set up for equipment and was just wondering if it's okay to run the sodium hypochlorite through the machine when you post/pre treat?

I've been watching 100s of videos as i'm starting up my own Pressure Washing Service. One thing i've noticed is everyone has a different chemical mixture. Yours is the one I prefer the most but I have a question. For your downstream, when pouring your mixture, do you put water in your bucket to dilute the bleach? I know downstreaming already dilutes it as water is coming through the hose already, just wondering if i should dilute my mixture in the bucket as well.

Test it out, if the organic growth is not coming off the surface odds are your diluting it to much. Downstreaming can only get so hot of a chemical. So for some surfaces such as many roofs, you would need a way to pull strongner chem.

After 2-3 of watching videos. I’m about to pull the trigger and start my own business.

Okay, I noticed the sidewalk had their edges trimmed and mowed. Silly question, but if someone wants their driveway and sidewalks cleaned, do we recommend that first or even offer the service to do it for them for an extra price? Thanks in advance!

The gx200 is a great motor but can be finicky with the low oil switch so check your oil level. Other than that check your spark plug is clean and your gas is fresh.

I was supposed to start with my little power washer but I had summer school ugh

You mentioned you were having trouble on turning it on, i recommend working with the throttle. With that I mean don’t have it full power or low power just work in between and you definitely will notice the difference

Change the gas cap on your pressure washer that will fix the problem of the pressure washer not starting. You can find replacement caps on Amazon.

I have the same machine, and it was a little hard to twist the first few times I used it, but you just have to put some elbow grease into it and you'll be able to adjust the pressure

@johnveit ..man I have the same pressure washer. Got it from Home Depot. I was wondering, would the pressure hose from pressuretek, the “suttner 4000 psi gray”, work for the pressure washer I have ?

i want to start but im a little overwhelmed.. Do you use the pool cleaner and lemon stuff for everything or just the side?

Do you just wet the grass before you pretreat the driveway to keep from killing it?

Check your carb and make sure it’s not dirty. A little starter spray will help too.

I got a question can you use this same mix for bricks and siding? And can this mix be used for oil and rust stains ?

How long before the machine that your scrubbing the drive way with will have to be replaced as far as the part that's actually scrubbing the concrete...in case it wears out..

Abel Villarreal they are too expensive. Go on Google and get multiple quotes from different companies. I got them from Simply Insurance. You need have them call you and tell them that you need insurance that covers NAICS Code 561790 which includes powerwashing service. Sometimes cheap insurance companies gives you the liability insurance for a interior cleaning business which is something we don't do.

I think you sometimes have to call them (city) to allow you or run the chemicals into their grass and water it down

John when you used your surface cleaner, how did you stop chemicals for being dispensed? Or do you use chemicals while using a surface cleaner

I just did a $375 pressure wash last week took me 3 hours :)

I have that same machine with same start up problem. I returned one and had similar issue with the new one. I think it has to do with the choke, I start the machine with no problem now but with the choke slide to off. Try it, hope it works for you.

Does the chemicals damage any paint or grass if not mixed correctly?

How are you doing? Just quick question you didn’t add any water to the 5 gallon bucket of S&H? And do you have a chart of what S&H to use with what water and what solvent? Thanks. And you said after you pre-treated it surface, cleaned it you left S&H on it to dry and you left that on there and went to the next job?

What do you do for insurance should I carry a lot or just enough

wet the lawn and any plants before you start the job, hose them down really well with water first and the grass along the edges to be safe.

As far as that downstreamer, how does that work? You connect the hose to the bucket with strictly bleach and sulfactant and does it mix with the water going through pressure washer and dilute it? Or is it onoy spitting out whats in the blue bucket? Im looking to buy a downstreamer for my soap to make iobs easier. Thanks ahead of time!

Is bleach ok to run through the pump on that model? I have a pressure washer with a built in downstreamer, but the spec sheet says do not use bleach. Just wondering so I can switch pressure washing models! thanks!

Just started my business here in Louisville, Ky and I’ve learned a lot from your channel brother! Keep it up! I just have one question. Been seeing a lot of guys saying not to use SH through their machine like how you’re doing in this video.. They’re saying purchase a x-jet downstream injector kit. Have you had any problems out of your machine by running SH through it or is it just a preference thing? I don’t want to mess up my machine. I have the same machine that you’re using in this video.

SH is highly corrosive, if you run it through your system its going to slowly but surely destroy your seals and corrode metal in the system. You can spend time flushing your equipment to avoid that but its inevitable. Down streaming with an X-jet is a affordable solution, a still affordable but less affordable is a dedicated 12v soft wash set up.

He is not running bleach through his pump. It’s downstraamed chemical not upstream. The bleach is only getting In the hoes and guns, let them run water for awhile before packing them up to increase the lifespans

Straight white vinegar has really surprised me, make sure you get the high acidity solution like 6% acidity and that should do it man it’s strong on the algae and mold
