I've tried it out, I feel the animations are sophiscated but don't server the everyday needs of simple animations

There's an older project I made with CRA that I wanted to refactor. I was wondering if I need to migrate it to NextJS or if I can use Aceternity with CRA.

I can imagine a lot of these will be confusing and too distracting for users. Invest your efforts into creating awesome copy and things that will improve usability and conversion vs adding flashy effects that make your laptop fan spin.

There are some nice components however I don't think its much different than the pile of other tailwind / tailwind+react component collections/directories out there, or browsing codesandbox/codepen/etc. I do think its a cool idea by the author to use this as a vehicle to pitch his custom services.

Looks great but at the cost of performance. The issue with 99% of the libraries are that non of them are optimised for performance so if you are working on a high scale project they are useless. Also it depends on tailwind which is on it self is bloated. I'm working mostly for big clients you'd be amazed how much time we spend on reducing the final bundle size and how bloated most of those libraries are for no reason. We start with a prototype using most of the known libraries and then strip everything and try to reduce the final bundle to 80% less code.

no. many of them wont work on mobile at all. theres cool components but many of them are bad, better to create from scratch imo.

It looks like the components are just a marketing tool so the dev can secure more work building sites for others. Not mad at it honestly, but the best usecase for these would be taking the source code yourself and using it as a starting point. Besides responsiveness, I'm sure many of them won't be particularly light and quick to load.
