@@naponre3444 well an archer is the go to build in PoP (or most mods in my experience), but i would be interested in battlefield tactics; when to raid; when to retreat out of a battle; etc.

Check his PoP speedrun, I consider it is a good guide, he prefers strategy to action, and not fights by himself a lot, this is interesting imo, Ive learned a lot from his run :)

Hi, I know this video it's old but for anyone struggling to read the Zann Text, toggle cheats on, in the console write cheatmenu (to turn it off just write nochestmenu) and then on the cheatmenu you can change game settings, included changing the factions color, usually you wanna pick a bright color, because the background for the text will be a darker version of the bright one. (Search for tutorials if you don't know how to get the cheat menu).

Hey man, just a tip for future plays and hard to read factions - you can use tweakMB to change faction colours, tho you will need a new game for them to take effect.

I had the same problem, because I wasn't playing in english. Switching the game language to english solved it.

How long do these take to edit? This is some high quality stuff. Your voice barely changing in tone makes this very easy to understand!

I once managed to defend a empire town with 182 good gladiators and sharpshooters against 1416 zann units :D It was the most awesome battle ever for me. Really remembered me of 300 of sparta =D Ohh and that stop the crazy zann domination, I guess the only way to really stop them is to fight their army on sieges.

It also implies that people will try to deceive you but actually side with the Zann... maybe in the future after the Zann are fully driven off the continent. No hes talking about the other Zann on another continent these zann are traitors and have come to take new land but all the traitors didn't come and he wants you to figure out who are the traitors at there home so he can send the king a message to get them all executed.

We don't see that because of the editing. Each time you start a battle in Warband you get a renown value attached to that battle. Retreat and you don't get that renown value even if you killed 100 and lost 10. The next round of the battle will have a far less important renown value attached to it because you have reduced the difference between your army strength and that of the enemy. Retreating means getting a small amount of renown in the end, you only get renown for the last round of the battle (sometimes you can end up with a last round where you outnumber the enemy 10 to 1). Some mods add more penalties for retreating mid-battle like that but that game mechanic I just described is true for every mod I have played so far.

Unfortunately because of the size of the mod the best you can do is put all your graphics down to the very minimum and decrease the battle size, it's either that or get a new pc which I don't know about you but people generally can't get PC's on demand. Hope this helped at least a bit

Disable AA in the launcher and also in the graphics card settings. I had to force it off in NVIDIA 3D settings to get 0.9 to run properly

Uhhh... don't ruin the game for other people

If you want the enemy to charge in those situation without activating CHAAAARGE option you have to take out the lord, the troops then are forced to charge.
