I always find it easier with the little crown brush. The little red Annie you find in the bins at almost all beauty supply stores is a nice softy with pull, many stores sell them at 2 for $1.50.

I got a OG 8114 that I use like how you are, but the little softy seems to get it a bit better and because it's a polisher softy it's really quick and lays those hairs down.

JustinTime Could I ask you a question JT? I'm a new waver. I was only planning to wolf for 4 or 5 weeks but my waves on the top and back still show but my waves on the side are completely gone (3 weeks wolfing) should I just go ahead a get a cut?

My crown aka swirl is a royal pain. I think my hair is its own entity because it grows in whatever direction it wants to . Im definitely going to try this.

As you said in the video earlier you got to learn to use the tools you have and with that being said if people know how to brush their hair they wouldn't have to worry about fixing their crown because doing so it's part of muscle memory just like it is finding your crown

Am i just brushing the crown area and working my way out? I am just starting my waves and trying to locate my crown. Also when brushing do i have to brush in a 360 rotation?

I have the same problem. I have really fine straight hair and I brush the hair straight downwards towards the front and the back. So this exposes my scalp like a long line from one side of the head to the other and it's really frustrating and embarrassing and I can't seem to find a solution 😞😟
