The 2+2’s were not a failure. Highly misunderstood at the time. They have a cult following, amazing row crop tractors.

It looks like Iowa chapter had an excellent round-up. I was sure wishing I could have attended, this year.

Very interesting, all the older machines that used to farm in the USA. We had a tractor here in the UK which was made from two tractors. It was good on muddy ground and could be separated into two for summer use. There were some exports but in the end with all the upgrades and redesigns the company, Ernest Doe 'called it quits' and just decided to supply conventional Fordson tractors. Great video Steve thanks.👍👍

Wonderful displays,..reminds me of my Dad's 1951 IH Pickup, and then my 1973 Loadstar 1600 . Man, those Loadstars could turn on a dime, as they say. Great trucks for city deliveries.

Once at a tractor show, I saw an old tractor that was mostly rust and primer colored. A big sign on the front said, “Time & weather have faded me, but I am far from dead, ‘cause I wasn’t blue, or green, or yellow, I was Farmall Red”

Sad to see what happened today with the flooding, I hope actual show grounds themselves didn't get too bad.

2+2 tractors were NOT a failure! Had to stop watching after such a ridiculous and false comment.
