purediva81 Yeah she really does. It bugs out of me too. I don't know why she did. Even the moment when she quit the pose (even for awhile) and says "shit"..nope...it's not like professional.

Qo oo I thought she said 'shit' as well! But its actually the other lady going 'shhh' while she counts 'six'. haha!
I like how she gives clear instructions and reminds you to keep your stomach in and breathe correctly. She has great energy too. I really liked this video.
Loved loved loved!!! I have a hard time with some high intensity workouts because of lower back and knee problems so this was just heaven sent.
One of the few pilates trainers that I really enjoy on videos. Thanks Monica!

Perfect example of pilates looking easy but then burning like crazy! Amazing how the simplest looking can moves can be the toughest... Felt strengthening all over - good combo. Only the rep counts need improving!
Well Done !!! Thank you so much. I was able (barley) to make it through the entire thirty minutes. My rear-end feels like it was mauled by a polar bear. Thanks again !!!
Best part was when the chick in the back said "shit!" Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking :) Great work out!

Did this again today - had meniscus surgery 4mos ago and came back too soon power walking several days in a row mos 2-3; a set back to my recovery. This workout kicks butt (literally). Pilates does not hurt my knee at all. I am going to do Monica's other videos as well. I am trying to accept my limitations but it is hard.

Good video :). I thought it was well done! Got a couple of ideas for me to borrow ;). My class will be feeling it tonight! I didn't notice the counting. But hey, all you have to do is study the move and do it on your own. And actually, there are times when I'm teaching when I think "Did I do more on the other side??" Oh well, it happens! Thanks for posting this. I thought it was great :).

Good exercises, great presentation. I wish she was doing equal repetitions for both sides and I think the breathing is opposite of what she says. Inhale on release and exhale on contractions/ extensions

I've done this workout 3 times now and already feel more flexibility and strength in my core/back. I also really like the countdown so I know how much longer I have to hang in there!!

You can praise somebody without bashing others. Also, not all skiny women have eating disorder, some of us are naturally this way. I am also against obsession with diets but bodyshaming/skinny shaming is NOT the way to fight this. SHame on you, Lisa.

Excellent routine for abs. Sometimes is good to work muscles differently.
I love this video but the off counting is really frustrating. For example for the double clamshells Monica does 6 on the first side and 21 on the second. I felt crazy so I had to go back and check.

Same here, just counted. She does 16 and 5 at right side but 20 and 21 other side! Huge difference, it can make my left hip muscles grow more if i do this daily lol

Her cueing for the knee-to-nose I feel is a bit backwards. It's best to exhale when collapsing the body together and inhaling on body extension. Besides that this video is Fabulous! I teach this stuff allll the time and I enjoyed her one-legged Chataranga push-ups---GENIUS

I think this video is really awesome, but maybe next time the counting on both sides should be balance cause I noticed some part for example left leg was counted more than the other leg.

My legs were shaking the entire time (turn-out made the exercises far more intense) and my butt cramped so much during the exercise at 28:20 once we started circling our knees. I really liked the elevated clam at 14:25 where we extended the upper leg. I thought they were fun. My one criticism is that the exercise at 22:27 when she starts pulling her leg across her body on each side was terribly difficult to understand and accomplish. I felt very insecure about doing it correctly without someone to correct my form. Thank you for the video!
