Benham so brutally overpowered... Just turn in circles spamming massive torp volleys. But hey people are spending lots of $$$ to get this thing out of crates so no issues whatsoever :) 136 torps launched... Shima just not able to keep up with this thing.

Overpowered? No do you use radar dd or hydro dd against benham?, and also this benham was available from grind. And now its available on santa crates to bait people.

@Dionisos161 Did you really determine a ships quality based on a super niche and super uncommon situation. Friend let me start by telling you to start judging ships based on the role they able and meant to fulfill. Benham's stats versus Shimas makes the benham an overall better at the torpedo platform role and the versatility role. Also, get real power creep is rampant in the game so to an extent the captain doesn't really make the ship. Good luck out there man because with a comment like that you're going to need it.

How do you play DD, i mostly use Cruisers but i have a hang on DD lately after i got KiDD and the Sims in container latley.

How many people are going to spot the DD, even shoot at the DD (or send aircraft to attack it) - and then sail predictably right into the DD's torps? Can I please have enemies this stupid?

I paid quite a Lot of money in those Christmas boxes and never got a T8 or T9 ship out of them. I surely got out at the end around 8 or 9 Premium ships, but they were all T5-T7... and know i cant afford more boxes. ( i think i paid around 120-140 Euro alone for Christmas boxes)^^ Really wish this or some other ships that i got out of them.

Torpedo range is one thing but the most important is detection range which here is 5.5km it helps getting close and getting your weapon on target, so many times I have carefully stalked a target fired torps and had an ally come steaming past right into them, to make it worse some early DD's have torps range shorter than detection, like my torps go 6km but anyone can see me from 7km, rearly do you get a second volly off on target, notice the shell trails looks like he has a commander with some buffs that helps a bit too, hard work but at high tiers it looks fun.

how much is that concealment 6.5? and Torpedo range 10.5? Way to easy..... Try make that score with Blyskawica...

Benham Is so op.. 16 torpedoes that reload in 1 Min (more o less), not counting AR.. with excellent Firing Angles..... obviously being usn, It has long smoke and fast firing gun and Good concealment . I dont see downside on the ship. It's broken

Absolutely, he could have launched a double volley at the Musashi @11.20 earlier and taken him down...really bad play.

Another fine addition to Wargaming's cancer collection... The high tier torps-spammer that can reload "invisible" torps faster than most of the battleships can reload their main guns...

Yeah I don't see a potato here. He capped. He defended a cap and killed a DD in the process. He scouted and he went where there enemy push was and carried the game. If this is a potato can we have more plz? More like french fries at McDonalds. :)
