Right on! And nice to see something odd for nowadays like a 327 instead of a 350, 383, 406.

Also old drive shafts sometimes aren't that straight. They gett pinched in vices when people are changing U-joints and they get abused just in general. Neutral drops, hole shots, and they can lose their balancing weights.

Drive 327's like you stole it, and stop watching the tach. You go by feeling in your back against the seat, but your right to go by the sounds if it's breaking up on the top side too. Nice job you youngsters are doing there giving the two they're new life, far better than letting Japan send them back as rebar, are cheap angle iron by a long shot!!

Agree, theres no need for a tach you can feel/hear when its time to shift Tachs are nothing more than novelties If you have a fast car theres no time to take your eyes off the road anyways

@@gordocarbo you hear it as well as just know how it feels around you. Never used clutch after leaving the light either, and muncie shifted so smoothly they thought it was automatic lol Oh for the old days when life was simple. May have not been as fast as they are today, but it was more fun I believe. Mainly because it was all motor that we built ourselves from whatever source we could find to build it from. Then trip to machine shop for the basics, then your combination parts supplier/ performance shop aa your money was available. Then the fun began, and not many used lwb C10's back then. But just memories now for old men. But you are absolutely correct about that, and you could tell who wasn't a driver and who's daddy bought the car. And never believe what you think you see, because those of us are the ones that will eat you up, and really hurt your feelings. Have a Great Day
