I have a power supply that is using TOP243YN, the secondary outputs were only 0.6V (for the 5V output for control board & display) and 0.6V (for 12V output for motor). Primary voltage is normal (311DCV), all the diodes are ok, all connectors to load has been disconnected (to rule out shorted) but the optocoupler pin1 and 2 is zero (when tested with multimeter when board was on). Power off optocoupler pin 1 & 2 is 1.09V. I noticed there is no tl431 in this board too. In this case, what can i check? Hope you can provide some suggestions.@@HaseebElectronics​

Trying to fix Ryobi 6 port charger. Smps IC is not available and I can only get this one quickly in Australia. I'll try. Think power should be enough because 6 port charger only charges 1 18v bat at a time with 2A I think. Should be a quick install of this IC package. I'll disable all the protections and hope it works out.

sir i have water purifier smps of ic top244 fn ( i think this number because some number was erased by the company & looking top written on ic & watt which is 48 watt smps i asume to this no) is replaced by top249yn because of non-availability but it is not working . then i replace with ca 888 circuit. though its giving 23.9-24.2 volt but fluctuating . when i am connecting to booster pump of ro water purifier it reduces to 17.2-17.5 volt . please guide me to resolve the issue

I bought dell U3011 monitor, i have used it for 1 yr now. its now dead. i opened it and found TOP266vg ic is blown. is there an equivalent ic. coz i have searched for TOP 266vg here in Nairobi but its not there. could you please make a video of TOP 266vg,,,pleaaaaaaase.

Can I use TOP244YN package in place of TOP244PN in a circuit if I combine L and X pin on the YN package, and use them at M pin of 244PN package in the circuit?

@@amirchaka1407 I was able to successfully use the TOP245YN package by looking at the datasheet instructions. No, we should not combine L and X pins per the datasheet of top245YN. They have clearly given how to use the L and X signals for your circuit. If you want, you can easily use TOP 244YN or TOP245YN in place pf TOP244PN. If you want, I can go back and check the datasheet how I used the L and X Pin of YN package.

we shouldn't try to increase current of any adapter. basically the transformer is calculated to produce a specified amount of power. if we try to increase it's current, that time the transformer apparent power will increase which will cause to heat up or destroy the transformer or it may cause to excessive power dissipation in driver MOSFET or it's damage

no it is not same as TL431 current sense resistance is to be changed that is connected to i_sense pin of pwm controller or i n case of MOSFET it is connected to source pin so changing these resistor is always cause to increase in current I watched some videos who claim to increase the current but it is totally non professional approach because it causes to excessive current flow in MOSFET to primary of the transformer so it will cause temperature rise in transformer winding, MOSFET power dissipation and core saturation rapidly

yes top 246yn 247yn 248yn 249yn 250yn are same every higher number have more power than the lower number so you can use 247yn instead of 246yn

yes it is available in pakistan. you can check Hall road Lahore and College road rawapindi, there are many online supplies in pakistan and they send at very reasonable prices for just 100 rupees TCS charges
