31000 Kms Harrier 5th Service | Tata Motors Service Tour & Detailed Service | Oil, Filter & Grease

Wow, what a detailed service Harrier gets after completing 30000 Kms as per the routine. My friend Ajitem Sahastrabudhe's Tata Harrier BS6 White XZ+ has recently finished its 31k Kms in city and highway, and we took this SUV for its 5th service to Nagpur's Jaika Motors - Authorized Tata Service Station.
The Harrier had various components to be checked and replaced in this service since this is the major service of Harrier. Things that were changed included:
5L Engine Oil
Engine Oil Filter
Diesel Fuel Filter
Air Filter
AC Filter
DEF
Additionally, some components only required basic service, including brake pad cleaning, sunroof greasing, infotainment software update, ECU diagnosis, Car Wash & Polish, and more.

Brother u have change brake pads..they won't cost big but nxt time when they change them again charges again the labour cost of 950 as well..
When ever i visit tata survice center i notice that the 50 to 60 % accidental cars are brand new even plastic covers are there on seats.

You can wait for my Ladakh tour vlog. We experienced this issue in Safari but that had a sensible reason.
I did my major servicing for harrier at 15k.. They replaced mostly all parts like oil air filter diesel filter etc. Is it okay? However I felt the car is more noisy, not smoother and gears are hard post servicing. Is it normal ? I also see service notification on the car continuously even after servicing.

I think you are mistaken. BS6 uses 0W20 engine oil which is from petronas. Are you sure they used Castrol ?

For Bs4 Models both are recommended as per owners manual. Buy this being BS6 model Sir you have a valid point.

Uske liye 4 wheels kholne ki mehnat lagti hai so utna expense justified hai.

Not only opening the wheels, front wheel disc brakes must be disassembled and then again reassembled. Same for rear wheel drums. Lot of effort is needed. Cleaning process involves cleaning with air, sandpaper and then use bardahl cleaner. Cost is justified

That`s the reason why I sold Tata Nano. It was a good car but Tata`s main problem was service where they did timepass. If you see Hyundai and Mahindra are best. My Xylo is now 9 years old and I drove it 1,10,000 km and then too till date it is perfect and when service is needed Mahindra is perfect and professional in it.
