The 310 gallon mixd reef has been up and running for 3 Months. So far, so good, but still a work in progress. Calcium and Alkalinity uptake has taken off and become difficult to manage with CaCl and Soda Ash. I have been battling low pH with large swings at night, low Phosphates (.04) and zero Nitrates. Started dosing Kalkwasser 06/30/24 - following Chris Meckley's method(s) - to hopefully stabilize the pH and maintain Ca and Alk overnight while letting the Calcium reactor do its job in the daytime.
