The recipe to make Granite with Diorite and Quartz is one of the things that actually makes the most sense in Minecraft... when you're a geologist. In real life the main difference between granite and diorite is the fact that granite contains quartz and diorite doesn't. As for the color, it's caused by another mineral: feldspar. Diorite contains only white feldspar (also called plagioclase), while granite also contains a lot of orange feldspar (orthoclase) That being said, the recipe for diorite is cobblestone + quartz. When real-life diorite doesn't contain quartz. ... yeah i don't have any excuse for that one

@@Confuzzledtoast In my university we had marine biology as an optional course and it was taught by the biology department. I didn't take it so I don't know much but I'm guessing what they connect through is paleontology but you don't need extensive knowledge of rocks for that and definitely not of igneous rocks since fossils appear in sedimentary rocks, I hope the original commenter corrects me if I'm wrong

this is the first minecraft fact video that actually taught me something really interesting, and right at the start too, that ofcourse being the desert temple thing, might make a build like that, really cool, also I learned the pickle thing, and very interestingly, you can sleep underwater.

Regarding the item frame thing. It’s really annoying when you’re creating adventure maps, because even in adventure mode and with mobGriefing off, both mobs and players can still shoot out the items in item frames with bows and arrows. You have to give yourself an invincible item frame that spawns with the item in it for it to be safe.

Another good chair idea is to place a staircase block, surround it with trap doors except in front, count two block away from front place a block, on top of that block place rail then another one slanting into front of stair. Set a minecart on the top rail and push it down towards stairs. Destroy the block and rails. Then you have a chair design that way as well.

You should change the title to 29 things you DID know about Minecraft, cause I knew most of these! XD (I'm joking, I doubt most players know these things). The burning golden nuggets as fuel and Strays dropping wither skulls thing surprised me though... bedrock is ridiculous (I do believe they patched those recently, however).

Hi Skip the tutorial you have been a very very famous youtuber after the last month

The blue sheep to red sheep thing is an homage to Age of Empires 2, in which priests could convert the player's (blue) units to enemy (red) units -- including his sheep.

The evoker turning turning your blue sheep red is probably a Age Of Empires 2 reference. An enderman will actually give up and teleport away if you stare at it for long enogh.

For the chair thing you could also use a minecart, trapdoors and rail. Place the rail then minecart. Destroy the rail under the minecart then surround it with trapdoors

Fun fact for pocket edition! When you're crafting in bulk, do not fear the endless tapping just hold down like you would to grab part of a stack, and it shal craft faster than it takes to say "OH GOD A BABY ZOMBIE"

@@devilsartist2844 you can change the gui in the video settings to classic which it allows you to look like youre on computer.

I love how an enderman is just SCP-173 now

7:00 well, you can throw an entire stack of item by just pressing ctrl, it works in inventory too lol. No need to destroy your Q button

Fun fact about lamas-they mix they're stomach acid with they're spit, so when you get (spat) on its really stomach acid.

Can we just appreciate how funny his videos are and how he puts a smile on our faces

the unicorn trick reminded me of a way to become a pegasus by gliding onto a horses back while invisible(using a elytra)but it only works in bedrock

I learned this a few days ago Dolphins are Neutral so there's 2 mobs that can harm u in peacefull mode
