Broken thing of Time materia that is worth noting: Stagger the enemy FIRST and THEN use Stop on them. The stagger meter will be frozen in time, so the stagger lasts A TON more. Super broken for certain combos.

Quick tip for Self Destruct: Give yourself an immunity to Instant Death before using it. That way, you don't die, *AND* your Limit Break is suddenly maxed out.

Paired HP absorb and enemy skill, every time plasma discharge goes off you get some health. Great passive healing.

Just one thing, the auto weapon ability materia only makes it so the character use the weapon abilities they have assigned to shortcuts - not ALL of their abilities! ☝️🤓

@@swannnny I get the feeling he's rushing these out. Only the single failed use of Self-Destruct made me feel like he's really focused on speed over anything. I noticed this inaccuracy as another testament to the same style. Combine that with his exaggerated exuberance and I'm started to avoid his videos. It's a pity, I think he has the ability to do better, he's just prioritized speed above all else.

Yuffie became my party leader the moment I've unlocked her. She's just so damn OP, partner her with the Plasma Discharge and watch your ps5 crash with all the lightning effects 😂

Yes, you can farm moogle medals from the same boxes continually using save and reload. This also respawns all the crafting materials world drops as well.

Honestly the thing ive been getting most excited about qhen reaching a new area... is fighting new opponents for QB😅 I just got to the Gongaga region and really hope that there is still A LOT left to do with queens blood

I’ve skipped every single mini game, and have still become overpowered and unstoppable. The mini games drive the game back. Makes the pacing so slow and boring and you literally forget the story for hours. FF7 Rebirth is not a contender for game of the year when they change the story to a multiverse, the boredom of the open world progression and exploration. It’s super underwhelming

I dunno, I kind of enjoy the diversion of the minigames sometimes. Like, i really don't like Fort Condor, but I do enjoy Queen's Blood. Heck, my kids even enjoy doing the parade formation, which totally baffles me. I have been playing the game pretty slowly, and I think I am enjoying it more because of it

Quick tip on bangles or the 2nd slot in item: Anything that has odd grade (1,3,5,7...) can be enhanced. All even numbers are not, but boast higher def mdef vs odd grades.

There is a pair of luck up materia earrings diggable by chocobo near the waterfalls by Costa del Sol, didn't see any mention of it in the vid or comments, but I insta-equipped these on Yuffie.

Wait... Wasn't Gravity spells based on *REMAINING* HP? Meaning you start getting diminishing returns the later in the fight it is used?

10:39 I have never saved DIRECTLY at a Remnawave Tower, I am normally slightly to one side... But I can confirm if you save and go back, Yes the boxes do respawn.... However, A Small point of note is the game does seem to have an in-built timer and you won't always get Moogle Medals doing this... Sometimes you have to be away for a while ... I will keep experimenting and see what happens. I have started over as I was doing LOUSY at Queen's Blood... So I have a nice few Remnawave Towers I can test out... And if they do respawn and produce Moogle Medals... I will update this post.

Self destruct is OP just like the first game. If you know what sword uses Reprieve. Use it on staggered enemy, synergy ability stagger increase, dished out damage multiplier (tife unique, aerith aw, debuff)

You can get the AP material in the grasslands combat simulator just look at the rewards for that I already have that

Does the accessory that prevents instant death stop cloud from dying to self destruct?

It should but I would not waste an accessory on that. Use the Reprieve weapon skill instead . Super clutch for solo battles. Or try pairing that Enemy Skill Materia with HP Absorption. I know it works with Plasma Discharge so I imagine Self-Destruct will too.

Does “Stop” pause the stagger bar from lowering like it did in Final Fantasy 7 Remake? I know most people weren’t aware the Time material could pause the stagger bar in FF7 Remake… it’s obviously extremely overpowered because it significantly expands the amount of time you can beat on a staggered enemy making use of the extra damage you apply when an enemy is in the stagger state. If anyone is aware whether it still works that way in Rebirth, I’d appreciate it! I haven’t gotten the materia myself yet.

Next time materia comes from combat sims in later chapters, but if you are still in Costa del Sol region, give it another few tries before moving on, I struggled with it at first too, but I figured out if you focus on scoring high in the first 2 rounds it'll give you more slack for mistakes on the last 2. I barely eked by with 15,200, but just enough to clutch up the time materia & sooo glad I didn't give up, be persistent, you'll get it!

@@michaelneff5794 Thanks for the information and advice. Yesterday I tried it again and reached a new high score, but it looks hopeless atm. I continued the story and I,m now at Corel prison. I know I will try it again someday. But I feel save now, there is another Time Material in the game. Combat is for me not a problem. I resolved all Gold Saucer combats on dynamic and underleveled. The 3rd one was very tough, but 2 level grinds and 10 try’s later I did it. My level was just 35 and recommended was 39.

@@SamuraiDoku you just have to memorize the targets you need to prioritize. Even if you suck at aiming as long as you know where to aim you’ll get good scores each round.

I simply call it "Blade Beam", in reference to the Limit Break of the same name from the OG which is also an energy wave that Cloud shoots out from his sword (even though I know that said Limit Break was made into the "Blade Burst" ability)

I don't mind your covering of the obvious stuff, but some of the exaggerated exuberance comes off more than a little click-baity. Calm down a little.

agreed, FFVIIR3 (aka Final Fantasy Remake Part 3 or whatever they're gonna call it) would definitely benefit from the Gambit system, I mean they brought it back for a minigame in Rebirth: Gears and Gambits, next logical step for the third game would to ditch the auto-cast/ability materia in favor of a full-on return of the Gambit system, though one small change I'd recommend is the option to set multiple conditions/effects to the same "node," I.E. we could set a "wait for 2 ATB" condition and an "Enemy is Pressured" condition for Barret's Focused Shot so that he's not always spamming it with just one bar and instead waits for when it can deal massive stagger to an enemy, or we could have a "Target Weakness" condition which lets us apply all of the elemental abilities/spells to it so we can have the character use whichever one the enemy is weak to without prioritizing any given element

DO NOT USE MORPH ON TONBERRY KING- that thing made me loose nearly all progress in the exploration there nad had to load an older save and redo it all

Buy a rent card on the choco stable and u can use chocobos on desert

At 19 minutes you mention the possibility of an AFK method of getting Gil with the accessory from doing the 4000m scooter thing. I can confirm this is not true. Both on and off the scooter things, you can NOT do an AFK Gil farm with this item. I did both, right in the corner where you do the quest for returning the scooters, right in the corner by the exist archway, and the stars that lead to the top of that archway. I let it go for a good hour, and gained exactly zero Gil. I started with 19,506 gill before starting the run into the corner, and taped my left stick up to make him walk, and taped the R2 trigger down so he ran in place in the corner. After an hour, my Gil stayed the same, not gaining even ONE. So sadly, no there is no AFK Gil farm. At least not the kind you were talking about. I can't think of any other method to farm Gil with that item other than painstakingly walking around everywhere. It'd be faster to ride a Chocobo around an area and collect the stuff on the ground, warp to a town, and sell all the stuff. You'll get more money. This item is damn near useless.

If Square Enix really wants this game to make game of the year... they really needs an add an update where we can wear clouds Shinra outfit and everyone else's beach outfits whenever we want throughout the entire game. Guaranteed if they release a patch that lets us walk around with the bathing suits for the entirety of the game there is almost no way that this game would not make game of the year.

Doubt it this early and easy... keep doing it nothing changes so just try remembering the areas. Look out for spinning heads that has bonus points on the other side.

Yuffie with enemy skill materia and hp absorption paired, use sonic boom and plasma discharge brumal form and mug, coupled up with ninjitsu of enemy weakness on and watch the lighting destroy everything in its path whilst healing you to a point your nearly unkillable

I found getting time hard...as I'm not good at those sort of things.

Are you aware that you can't AFK Farm Gil with the pedometer pin... while you're on any Mount at all be whether it's a Chocobo the buggy Cid's airplane...and the Segways.... the game literally mentioned this the only way that you get Gill with the pedometer pain is while you're walking around on foot. Can you reviewers please look more into your information before releasing it. There have been so many people that have said so many incorrect things about this game because they rushed through it to finish it so that they could make clout videos that it's not even funny.
