In this video, I create a small square aquarium 30*30cm. Materials used in this video:
1. River / sea pebbles
2. Mixed substrate for plant growth with the addition of vermicast
3. Stones for hardscape (Frodo)
5. Plants (Kabomba green, Rotala of two species, Anubias nana, Bucephalandra, Hair Grass)
6. LED lamp 18W
9. Cubic aquarium 30cm
10. Sand
11. Snag
12. External filter 500l/hour
13. Adhesive black paper for the background
Care for the first 3 weeks of a new aquarium:
First 3 days 50% water change every 12 hours
4,5,6,7 50% water change every 24 hours
Second week, 50% water change 2.3 times
Third week, 50% water change 2 times
From the fourth week you can change the water 30%/50% once a week
Remember! Each aquarium is an individual biosystem and can work in different ways, so here are the basic recommendations based on personal experience in creating and maintaining more than 30 aquariums. Your aquarium requires regular care, maintenance, and observation like any other living organism.
