90% of all lines with a shut off valve are the same. Valve turned straight with the line = on. Valve at 90° from line = off. Lucky you. You have to use the snow blower and Tampers is warm and laughing at you. Lol!!! I heard that we could get ice at my home tomorrow afternoon. Stay warm and in good spirits!!!!!

Holy smokies, you forgot to brush the snow off the hood and bet the roof too. 😉 Born and raised across the lake in Michigan. First vehicle was a 1962 IH Scout which of course was four wheel drive. 😆

The good old fashioned way of cleaning off the driveway. Bring back memories. My dad didn't buy a snow blower until after us boys left the nest. After you get the drive nice a clean the plow will come thru. lol.

Try using 91 octane or higher. That's because there's no ethanol in it and we all know that ethanol for small engines is a big no-no because it's hydroscopic (attracts moisture/water) Where I live, Shell's V-Power 91 octane premium gasoline has 0% ethanol.

We got our first snow/ ice 1/2" deep here in Pa. Lucky for me I put the plow on the Jeep last night and scraped all 300 feet of my driveway clean before it freezes into a solid block of ice tonight, not that I have anywhere particular to go, LoL. I guess I just like knowing it's cleaned off in case we get more. TruckerWho cam through Sheboygan, WI I think on the 16th because the roads were clear and not that much snow on either side of him even thought the video date was the 17th. He must have just escaped this larger snow fall. On the snow blower, take out the plug and lay it on the head and crank it over to see if you have spark if you do then spray the WD-40 into the spark plug hole, put the plug back in tight and re try to start your snow blower.

Next, I'd try a new spark plug because even though it sparks outside the head, the spark cam stop on the compression cycle inside the head. If it was sputtering when you added the WD-40 then I'd say the fuel system was simply clogged up and needs dry gas added. If the spark that you have now is sparking outside the head, the points, condenser and air gap are probably all good and just the spark plug is weak. Also pick up a can of either when you are out, I think it works better then the WD-40 for cold starts.

Forgot to tell you that If you want to see if the motor runs before looking for the starting problem, open the air cleaner and squirt approx. 1 teaspoon of fresh gas (or carb cleaner as my grandfather would suggest) into the carb and without the choke, try starting it etiher by rope or electric start. If it starts that way, it means that the fuel delivery system is at fault. Frozen gas line, bad gas, clogged gas filter, etc. hope this helps! :)

I have pretty much same one at work. Did you try having the lever below fuel primer up? On the one that's at my work, if it's down like that, it shuts the unit off. I usually use the pull handle to start. Once awhile I'll use the push button next the the outlet like you did.

That is only in the summer time. Our air is very dry in the winter time. Plus if it snow's just an inch we shut down the state . No Snow Blowers are needed. No Snow Chains. No Snow Shovels. No Snow anything. We just sit and watch until it melts. True Story.
