Lodge:
This thatch roof lodge is place to be. There is a bar area, lounge area, Pool and lounge area with a deck overlooking a beautiful part of the farm. There are 2 air-conditioners as well as a very nice kitchen down stairs. The neatness must be experienced!!
Rondavel:
This Rondavel (round shaped chalet) has a 1 air-conditioner with 1 bedroom overlooking the swimming pool.
Cottage:
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and 2 air conditioners.
2nd House:
This managers house has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with open plan lounge area with a lovely verandah.
Camp area:
There are 6 bedrooms (1 has an en-suite bathroom).
There is a male ablution area with 4 x showers, 4 x toilets, 4 x urinals etc.
There is a female ablution area with 4 x showers, 3 x toilets, 1 x bath etc.
Storerooms:
This storeroom (shed for the tractors and implements) is well equipped. There is a wash bay with power washer, a room for the driver or garden laborer. There is a thatch store room with all the water and electrical supplies. There is a generator room as well.
The FEEDLOT
The cattle feedlot has state of the art equipment which includes feed mixers (molasses tanks and pumps as well as 1 Ureum pump), backup generators and very neat cattle handing facilities. There are 2 offices, 2 toilet areas,
The cattle and feedlot area has 18 camps with water.
There are 4 cement reservoirs with plastic linings. The Feedlot area itself has 2 cement reservoirs
The feedlot is divided into two sectors. Both has 10 holding camps.
There is a weighbridge of 90 Ton.
There is an electronic Cattle weigh-crate as well the loading area.
There are 8 weaver camps with water and have electric fencing
Water:
This property has 3 bore holes. There is a 20kw pump at dam for irrigation. This property has 3 earth dams and many natural fountains as well as waterfalls in the rainfall season.
Fences:
The farm’s boundary fence is 2.4m high, 21 stands. All game fencing is accordingly to the requirements of nature conservation. The Irrigation field has 2 sides electrical fencing.
Irrigation:
There is a gravel dam with 3phase electric pump that supplies the water for the irrigation. There is a 14.5ha with irrigation center pivot (3 tower plus overhang). The soils is a deep red Hutton sandy loam soil type…very very good soil.
Game and Cattle:
The following game do occur naturally on the open property and is included in the sale:
Impala, Zebra, Waterbuck, Kudu, Nyala, Red Hartebeest, Blesbuck, Giraffe, Duiker, Mountian Reedbuck, Grey Reedbuck, Steenbuck, Warthog etc. The seller has never done a game count as the main income is the Feedlot whereas the game is just the nice to have.
