Goldfish are known to be very "dirty" fish: you can't over-filter their water. Great job!
This is how goldfish are meant to be kept. Not in bowls or 2 gallon boxes.

Have you ever considered maybe getting lily pads I just know they will add that flar to the pond !
Wow, the water is super crystal clear. Kudos on your setup :) Thanks for sharing
Awesome Bailey great to see you on KZread you and your fish deserve to be in the spotlight 💖
Oh I have seen your pond so many times on reddit Its so exciting to see this whole video!
I have no idea how this popped up, but this is the absolute perfect solution to my indoor tank issues. Thank you for describing and showing everything you have setup. AWESOME !!
Normally im not a fan of these indoor ponds, cause people dont do good lighting and stuff. But this one is really good. You can still see the fish and even the plants in it :) Maybe you wanna cover the outside with these bamboo mats, would look even better.
OMG! I See you on Fish Tank Enablers! So glad you have a KZread, your goldfish pond is such an inspiration. At the moment I have a 150 gallon heated outdoor pond with some koi I'm growing out and some Ranchus. This season, I want to get some Ryukins and Orandas... Also I have to make a point about that Pothos, I love it! We have them growing out of several of our tanks too!
So beautiful, i bet you sit and watch for hours, love the filtration, liked and subed 👌👍
I love this pond! One suggestion, perhaps you could build an overhead sump so that all your filtration happens in one place rather than a bunch of different filters. You could also then make the return into a little waterfall that trickles back into the pond!

Any tutorials on how to do this?
Great video. Thanks so much for sharing. Your fish are very lucky to have you!
First time seeing this project, looks incredible! haven't seen many indoor ponds look good. you have done a great job making it look natural with all the anubias and pothos. the only thing i would suggest would be to add some surface agitation, bubbles from sponge filters do very little to aerate the water btw the white ebay filters often sell under the name Sun-Sun if anyone if interested.. they are quality filters for the money.
Very nice ! I love 300 gallon stock tanks for gold fish and even guppies . Thanks for sharing
You have done an awesome job. I love it. I am fixing to do the same thing. Thanks for posting your vid. Thumbs up!
This is one of the best pond I have seen bro. Too many filters and also aquaponic. No wonder why pond water is so clear. Great share and lovely Goldies 👍

A surface skimmer actually goes a long way towards keeping it looking clear. It stops stuff building up on the surface which lowers the oxygen level and encourages algae growth. Annoyingly no one makes skimmers for small ponds though so you have to DIY it, or use a large aquarium one.
I just seen alot of homemade ponds on KZread but I was looking for one just like yours thank you so much for sharing. I just bought 4 little koi and didnt know they grow so much but I'm doing alot of search they're in a 50 gallons tank for now
Great job😄👍 it's a very lovely pond. Thank you for sharing it with us. ❤
Your set up is amazing. Not enough fish channels out there.
Beautiful fish and awesome set up! Keep the Videos coming!
I've seen you post this pond on reddit, I'm so glad I stumbled across this video. I'm trying to talk my husband into bringing our pond in during the winter so maybe this will help! We do bring in the fish, but they go into an aquarium. The plant you were unsure of in your betta tank is a Java fern, looks like a narrow leaf Java fern to me. Lovely tank!

I’ve been following your reddit posts for a while, was happily surprised to this video come up in my recommends
I have my Butterfly Koi in my room. I actually had to tear apart my closet to fit a 110 gallon acrylic tank for her. I'm very protective of SHADOW 💋 she was the smallest (4.5 inch) from nose to tail, of the koi I received last Summer and the only one to survive out of 16. It's just an ongoing process getting bigger tanks. 💜
I breed goldfish specifically orandas and i got a couple of these 300gal. My filtration is just spongefilters(lots of them) i got very low nitrates and other toxins in the water very low by doing water chages(30% every 2 days). Also just placed lots of bio media ad plants within the stock tank. Also Changed the drainage into a pvc setup to be drained to the grass for easy water changes. I keep my stock tanks like this is because im constantly breeding and selling the fish. This pond setup absolutely blows me away its so amazing! Your fish are very happy living there.
Beautiful clear water and fish!
This is a great pond! Congratulations
Your other plant on wood is Java fern! Great pond I love it!
You can never go wrong with an fx6 canister filter. The two white ones you have are Sun Sun canister filters.
You have a amazing pond!! I wanna get a tub like yours for my oscar and flowerhorn cheaper then a big tank and I think is awesome
So gorgeous! I could look at it all day
Beautiful set up you have I have mine out side filled with comets a shubunkin and a koi
This setup would before my single red tail catfish.you have given me ideas thank you
Beautiful. Also those are SunSun canisters I have one on my 60 ❤️
I am so glad you address question 4: it was my first question (what is the aquarium in the middle). This is an innovative set-up, you are enormously creative and your fish are fortunate to be cared by you. Also, thank you for being so detailed about the products you use and where you acquired them - especially the grow light. 👍👍👍Well done! This video is quite a treasure. Urban dwellers are always seeking to benefit from viewing videos like yours which show how you can have a pond when you may not have the outside space or may not want it outside because of predators. Personally, I would do this in my sunroom as I live near a a wildlife reserve and there are too many predators to contend with for a pond in my yard.

I wouldnt sugest putting a pond in a sunroom because of any algae blooms, any sunlight will trigger them but that might also just be in
Nice pond and aquarium ,i like those fancy goldfish
very cool setup! Those white canister filters are sold under a few names....usually Sun Sun or Aquatop.
The goldfish are beautiful are they a special kind? The pond is very nice you did a good job setting it up. Thank you for sharing.
Nice little pond....thinking about doing something like this but can’t decide where....in Cleveland doesn’t make sense to do outside just for 3 months or so....we have a big ranch so no basement....we’ll figure something out....very nice young lady....thanks for the ideas and inspiration🌱👍
Beautiful _stunning_gorgeous pond
Your pond is amazing great job looking good.
Hey Bailey. Inspired by you, i purchased a black tank 4x2.5x2 feet and i just put 100 gallon in that tank. I purchased my first ever betta ( growing up, i hate loner fish lol) and he constantly patrolling the tank. Rarely hiding and swimming about like he's wandering inside a huge mansion.
Your pond looks great. We have the 100 gallons version of this. The canister pump you have is a Sunsun
soooooo refreshing to see someone who understands a goldfishs needs!! they should never be in aquariums, absolutley stunning indoor pond, love it and so jealous lol

Cool large indoor pond!
Beautiful setup
very interesting set up. I like the way you have the pathos around the edges. Looks really good. I do not see any gfi for safety. That is a worry. Recently I got a very pretty female betta. I am very happy with her and she is in my community tank, 37 gallons and no one bothers her. Pretty heavily planted for hiding. I have a hard time with being on a carpet. Looks nice but carpet?? All in all I am very impressed. I have a six hundred gallon stock tank sunk in the ground outside and my gold fish live there in the good weather. In winter we have a tremendous amount of rain and wind living on the Oregon coast so I move them to my one hundred gallon on the covered deck.
I have some pathos fully submerged, they are doing well. So you probably won’t have to worry too much about the leaves going in the water ☺️
SUNSUN canister filters are the best for how cheap they are!
I’m personally into monster fish but I love this 😭😂 nice work
Great goldfish pond, to help control your nitrates you might want to have one of your filters flow through the flower box with the lava rock. Lava rock can be a good nitrate (anaerobic) filter as well as aerobic filter.
Your fish are absolutely beautiful
this pond is so pretty! i want it you should add a few floating plants too
Nice job.. I really enjoy looking at other peoples ponds and fish. I have 4 koi ponds and a fish room with multiple tanks. My ponds are surrounded by decking and trees. If you would like to view them that's great. If not that's ok too. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
Such an inspiration!
I love your calico oranda, is huge and beatiful!!!
This is so dope!
You did such a beautiful fish tank , your fish look happy & healthy, also your plants are thriving...truly gorgeous 💖
That's incredible especially for the price.
Your goldfish are beautiful!
I can some lovely oranda great collection Well done
I have the same thing. I bought the rubbermaid from Tractor Supply for $250. My setup, however, is sitting outside on South florida Florida where temps dont get much below 40. I have 2 sump filters that get so much sunlight they have algea growing in it.
Very nice pond. Great video
Very nice!!!! Kuddos to you, I tried so hard to an outdoor pond and failed miserably because of algae. I am thinking of doing an indoor pond instead.
With all that filtration you shouldn't have any problems with nitrates or ammonia. Nice job. Yea, no heater necessary for goldfish or koi. The bettas on the other hand should be at about 72 F minimum. Or room temperature. That's a java fern in the betta tank on the rock. You could stock a lot more fish in the 300 once the filter has seasoned. The 3 canister filters will do the job along with the plants and aquaponics. Algae is good in a pond. Just not hair algae , can be unsightly. Regular algae makes pond sides look more natural and feeds off the fish waste. Keep it up and keep learning.

Dartist64 Rocks Yes bettas were kept at 80 in there. Nitrates do spike a bit with the huge goldfish I have, at least if I don’t do 50% water change every week.
So amazing pond. Nice.

Awesome channel!!
You are edging closer towards low fish density aquaponics. For a flood/drain gravel based system without solids removal... you can feed about 13g per square meter of veggies growing per day. I just have a single 25W water pump for my whole system ($21 per year in power). A 150gal Rubbermaid tank like yours with two 50gal stock tanks (same thing too) filled with lava rock and clay pebbles. Growing lettuce, kale, tomatoes, swiss chard, etc., etc. All running off of just 8 1yr old gold fish getting fed 4 to 6 times a day when the water gets around 75deg F. I try to keep the nitrates above 40ppm but have seen in many times higher and the gold fish were like honey badgers.
just wondering if the tank is still sitting on top of the other tank with water in it or if it ever failed ? I want to put a 15-25 gallon watter brige and set it on top of the ends of two 180g acrylic tank and im worried about the stress
Wow your pond is so nice and so big. I wanna have one.
How do you get to the tank in the middle to make some maitenance?
The fish look happy and healthy
Hey isn't that Winston? Always a cutie.
How did you attach the window box to the side?
You can keep amazon sword and cripts with goldfish as well. They eat anything else.
I want to do a similar set up but was thinking about inverting the tank so I could view the fish from the side angle. (That's how I thought it was set up in the video originally) Do you think the tub could take that? I have a 65 gallon I want to use for this. Does anyone know what would happen if I did a water change with an inverted tank and how not to have water overflow the tank?
What is the tank reading on to protect the floor?
What did you use to clean the stock tank before adding water/fish?
Damn. Great job.
The pond guru recommends double filtration for goldfish. I have double filtration on my 400 litre tank, for two goldfish.
Keep up the good work 😘👍
the plant you don't know is Java Fern. As you probably know it's very tough and does ok with lower light levels.
What is the name brand of sponge filter your using?
love love it
Awesome!
Awesome setup. Did you ever cut off all of the filtration and just use the plants? This is cool stuff
Wow nice work
How is she keeping that long planter up ?? I wanna try it but idk how
How do u handle water changes
I watched your earlier video but forgot to sub, did it this time. That's a beautiful setup you got, get some lobsters there ;)
Use water lettuce for nitrates
@Christodophilus

Or water sprite, which lets in more light. It can be grown on the surface, although most know it as a rooted substrate plant.
Amazing setup, but wanted to say that those UV lights on the SunSun filters tend to literally destroy the filter from the inside, if the UV lights are left on for long periods of time, it will begin to eat away at the plastic trays since its such a low-grade plastic, other than that issue SunSuns are imo the best bang for your buck, I personally have a 704b on my 75 gallon and the water is always crystal clear.

Juhuuhy yeah! Thanks for telling me! I don’t even think they’re working. Pretty sure the UV crapped out within the first month I got them.
