Examples: 1) Jack has travelled to several countries, for example, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. 2) Jack likes different genres of music, for instance, rock and blues music. 3) I like pizza and a good juicy steak with french fries, in fact, these are some of my favorite dishes. 4) In conclusion, the new software turned out to be user-friendly. 5) To summarize, the team did an excellent job. 6) All things considered, it was a great vacation, despite the bad weather. 7) Finally, I have to give credit when credit is due - Mary, you did an outstanding job! 8) She experimented with different recipes and, ultimately, created the perfect dish. 9) In the end, the exam was as easy as pie. 10) To wrap up, (a long story short), that car is in mint condition, and I got it for a song, 19 900 €. That's a steal!

She's definitely an asset to the company. 5) She's sagacious and knowledgeable and always on the ball. 6) His friends liked to fool around and pull his leg from time to time. 7) We all have ups and downs in our lives, however, don't get discouraged. Hi Jennifer! Thanks a bunch! Examples: 1) Here's my morning routine: To begin I wake up, then I brush my teeth, next I put on casual clothes, after that I make my bed, and finally I eat breakfast. Now, I'm all set to go, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! 2) I like chocolate a lot, however, I shouldn't eat it too much. I don't want to put on weight too much. Chocolate is one of my "guilty pleasures"! 3) Although he is well-versed in theoretical things, his practical skills are almost non-existent. 4) Though being old, he's still fit as a fiddle and busy as a beaver. Rolling stone gathers no moss! 5) Knowledge is a treasure, but practice is the key to it. 6) Charity begins at home, but shouldn't end there. 7) In education we shouldn't strive to teach youth to make a living but to make a life. 8) Weak men wait for the opportunity, but the strong men make it. 9) I'm busy on Saturday, and furthermore, Sunday is booked, too. 10) We are going on a road trip, moreover, we are taking a scenic route.

Hi Jennifer! Thanks! Examples: 1) Mary was bent out of shape by Jack's tactless comments. 2) Jack popped a tire in the middle of nowhere. To make matters worse, it was raining cats and dogs and his boss was angry with him for being late. 3) Sometimes people you encounter may appear rude at first. However, when you get to know them better, they may very well be friendly after all. It goes to show, don't judge a book by its cover. 4) The design of the new product tried to cater to both functionality and aesthetics, but ultimately fell between two stools. 5) Jack wanted to pamper his loved one, Mary, and took her to a ritzy, upscale restaurant, fit for a queen. Dining there cost an arm and a leg! 6) I know, it'll be a challenging problem, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. 7) Many people may regret mistakes made in the past. However, it's no use crying over spilled milk. Let sleeping dogs lie. You can't unring a bell. 8) Despite warnings, Mary's curiosity got the better of her, and she wandered off to a shady neighborhood. To top it off, she got lost. She learned it the hard way! You know the saying: “Curiosity killed the cat”. 9) The new state-of-the-art product was very appealing and a good bang for the buck. However, he acted too slowly and hence missed the boat. They were already sold out. 10) Wow, you nailed it! When it comes to acting, you have an innate talent. You were on fire!
