@SagaciousRex it looks like silver vine, which has a stronger effect than catnip. so this is probably a mix. My cats go crazy for silver vine

@@dianaburn2474 True, but I just find it so funny that Lulu is the one who couldn't care less about catnip and not TT or Chuchu, for example. When it comes to food, you will always see Lulu at the scene.

Actually, my female cat who is the most food motivated doesn’t react to catnip. Only starts to copy my other cats, eats it, just because she gets jealous of not getting attention. But she doesn’t exhibit all the other reactions to catnip. My other two. The one who reacted the strongest, would recognize catnip before I gave it to them. Funny enough, the one who loved catnip the most sometimes would not eat all his food. So my female cat would finish his food eventually. The youngest male he reacts more to Silvervine. Than catnip. His reactions is mild.

Fun fact: Catnip elicits a different response from cats depending on whether it is smelled or eaten. when smelled, it acts as a stimulant, causing a wave of euphoria to overcome them. when eaten, it acts as a sedative, calming them down. The effects of both are extremely short lived, lasting just 10 minutes after initial exposure. Lala must have eaten some for her to have fallen asleep in the midst of that.
