I filmed using my Panasonic HC-VXF990 video camera and tripod all of the clips in this video at Manchester Airport during the summer of 2018. I used iMovie to edit all of the raw video clips I filmed to create this video here, which only uses content I myself filmed and fully own. All clips were taken by me on runway 23L.

I still sometimes wonder why people are afraid to fly. Flying has become extremely safe compared to other sources of transportation. It's just amazing how safe air travel has become.

Aviation Nut probably because if something goes wrong in the air, it’s much more likely to be fatal than if something goes wrong on a car for example.

This video would have been a lot more interesting if they had added a few bends in the runway.
You might not think that the tail fin on an airliner would be that big... but for an idea of the scale, look at the A330 at 0:22

Tibis I had never thought about that till I read your comment. Never noticed how large the tail fin on the A330 is. Still a decent looking bird though, always liked how simple and elegant the A330/340 looks. Same with the Boeing 777.

I looked up the registration and yes the plane used to fly for Monarch and was transferred to Thomas Cook in March of 2018

Not sure what huh is meant to mean. He may be referring to the livery with the big Star Alliance logo on the fuselage. Suppose it can look unusual....if that's even what he was getting at.
