30 Ridiculously Good ZBLLs

Ойын-сауық

Whenever I say opposite or adjacent when talking about recognition, I'm referring to colours, rather than positions. E.G. red/orange are opposites, and red/blue are adjacent.
There are plenty more great ZBLLs, but these are the 30 that I think have the best combination of speed, difficulty, and ease of recognition. Beyond this, I'd recommend learning all of T, U, L and H 2GLL, then work your way through the rest of the T, U and L sets. I think it's unclear past that point how worthwhile doing ZB is, and will probably depend on the cuber.

At 1:10, the alg shown on screen is wrong. The final R' should be r' instead.

Thx already new most of these but a few of them I had learnt bad algs for. Glad ZB is being presented more as an accessible asset for improving cubers rather than an impossible challenge.

Nice! Yeah I don't expect this to be particularly helpful for people who already know a fair bit of ZB, but hopefully it makes it more approachable for people who don't

Someone has a lot of Tengyuns! Great video, I'll save it for whenever I feel like learning algs. Funny that you didn't mention some of the easiest 2GLLs - T and U with the huge 2x3 block and 3x1 blocks. So, if you add these, you'll have 36 easy ZBLLs :)

Haha yeah I use Tengyuns for multi. Yeah there are plenty of other cases I could have included, but I had to draw the line somewhere, and I feel that the cases I showed have the best balance of speed, easy recognition, and being simple to learn. The cases you mentioned are easy to learn and recognise, but a bit slower than those shown in the video, which is why I didn't include them.

I might at some point. It's a fair amount of work though, and the algs still aren't hugely optimised. I'd rather wait until they were up to a higher standard (like mega OLL was) before making videos, so that I don't have to redo them at some point and the effort isn't wasted.

    I think you mean R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2. But anyway, that alg is mentioned in the description. I think it's a little worse, but still fine. The mirror is probably harder for a righty-dominant cuber though
