Lizzie and Hope are the most complimentary ship on the show...they just fit together naturally and they are so good for one another. Not to mention they've got near the same chemistry as Hayley and Klaus did and I'm a die hard Klayley shipper so I constantly find myself being pulled into Hizzie land despite rooting for Hosie...(one of the reasons why a guilty pleasure of mine is Hosizzie...despite how...complicated that ship would be)

I used to ship Hosie but then I saw how compatible this two are!

I feel like Lizzie would remember hope without the spell which is why Julie plec waited tell the episode Lizzie gets possessed for them to meet

What I like about the show is that sexuality is so fluid. Unlike in Vampire Diaries and The Originals where all the lgbt characters had labels and there were too many gay jokes for my liking. But in Legacies they don't give the characters a label. Even for the boys you can tell that even though Jed and Kaleb both had feeling for the same girl they had some sort of tension between them that was totally not straight. People have some negative opinions on the show but they forget that they're trying to target the teen audience. They have great diversity, and they teach a lot on mental health. I even enjoyed the episode where Landon seeks out advise about having sex for the first time to Dorian, an adult he trusts. They even call out toxic behaviors associated with both genders. They also shine light to toxic behaviors between siblings and how important it is to work through it which many people can relate to. They mention the abuse that many children go through in the foster system many times. Like Rafael is obviously really strong since he's a werewolf, but when confronted with the nightmare of his abusive father look at how it was like he was a little boy again. I also like the body positivity! Where Lizzie calls out Penelope for fat shaming. Also Hope breaking down this barrier that ''muscular women aren't attractive''. While also breaking down the television trope and showing that strong independent women don't all have to be mean and not feminine. This is the kind of show that teens should watch.

Agreed! I love that they have lgbt characters as the main characters and there are so many amazing things about the show. I don't think labels are bad, but it is very nice to just have characters exist as not straight without it having to be a big thing. And I do love the mental health discussions, though I don't think they do as well as they could with it sometimes lol. But yeah, overall, great show.

Like they have two confirmed lgbt mains and Penelope was also lgbt. And you're absolutely right that Kaleb and Jed did not seem very straight. Tvd and TO were filled with mostly straight characters and there were like no main lgbt characters unless you count freya, so it's amazing to have this show be much better about it. (And I know they did have other lgbt characters besides freya, but not main or even main-ish characters. Just side characters who often ended up getting killed off.)

@@legaciesvids I agree on that part, sometimes the mental health discussions arent that great but season 3 already looks like its shedding lots of light on that topic with lizzie, josie and finally hope

ive shipped hizzie since to beginning. they have so much potential and all of that would be wasted if they didnt end uo together. hope and lizzie have so much chemistry.

This video is really well done and just showcases why Hizzie is the superior ship. They support each other but also challenge each other. There's give and take, which is kind of perfect for the world's most powerful creature and a siphoner. If it happened, that would absolutely give Lizzie the power couple status she's always wanted, too. 😆 Plus, Jenny and Danielle have natural chemistry together. Also, I found it funny that when Alyssa made them disappear to the prison world, Hope's focus right after they disappeared seems to be on looking for Lizzie. And it's twice now that Lizzie has wanted to sacrifice herself and Hope has said "there's no way". So yeah, far superior ship. Josie and Hope are too obvious and it comes across as more of a "they're a good couple because we're telling you they are" instead of there being natural chemistry. Plus, there's no challenge in them being together. Legacies cribs A LOT from Buffy and Handon is basically if Buffy ended up with a less funny Xander. Thanks for making this video. ♥️

Also what ive noticed is that Hizzie is like delena and Hosie is like stelena, like i feel like at some point the creators will explore both ships and one of them will be endgame! im fine with both ships i kind of lean more towards hizzie, althought i used to be more for Hosie now im kinda into hizzie like they would be a great couple to explore.

@@Shadowsreveriein terms of them possibly exploring both ships, yeah I can agree with that comparison, however, as general personality I see it as less Delena and Stelena and more if they'd gone for Caroline/Elena vs Bonnie/Elena. Though Hope is *far* more interesting than Elena could ever hope to be. But because Julie has a weird fetish for young guys with long curly/wavy hair (Roman, Landon, Ethan, and even Sebastian to a point) I doubt either ship will be endgame. And given the resolution of Josie's lie (as well as the baiting in the Jinn episode and Hope confessing she had a small crush on Josie) and the resolution of the Dark Josie storyline, it's clear Julie has a favorite among the twins so I doubt we'll ever get the Hizzie exploration. Even if they do make way more sense together.

So good! I've shipped Hosie from the beginning and still do, but I've been watching a lot of Hizzie fanvid edits recently and totally feel myself slipping into shipping them, and now I'm totally conflicted on which one I want to see as canon.

They've mentioned a couple times that none of the characters have to explain themselves (sexuality-wise) and so I'm pretty sure Hope, Josie and Lizzie are Bisexual. Hope has a preference for boys, Lizzie no preference and Josie a preference for girls. This is just what I think, nothing has been 100% confirmed.

You forgot that fatum means fate / destiny .. you forgot that hope technically killed josie for lizzie you forgot that when mg and hope were trying to save lizzie from the merge and she was like "no:😡" but when hope said please she said "🥺:ok tell me about this potion" I could keep going but my fingers are tired 😂

I am a Klaroline fan! I find lizzie and hope have so much chemistry, my second choice is hope and Josie third choice is lizzie with werewolf Jed or vampire Sebastian. I also like Josie with Rafael , vampire chick and the witch from first season. Landon and Hope = boring Lizzie and MJ = Dull and Boring

Flynn Mikaelson when it comes to hope ships hizzie is definitely the best one. i used to ship hosie until i realized just how messed up what josie did to hope and lizzie was. i mean setting hope's room on fire (ik it was unintentional) and then blaming hope for it to turn lizzie against her and then telling the whole school about lizzie's mental disorder (like who tf does that) and once again blaming hope for it to deliberately turn lizzie against her, and the fact that she never once apologized to either hope or lizzie for any of those things or even took responsibility for her actions really showed josie's true colors. she's just overall not a really good person and i think hope deserves way better then that

I do find hosie really cute despite that (and in part because of one of those scenes because of the way hope just smiled when she heard about josie's crush instead of being mad about the fire lol) but I understand why it would be a deal breaker for you. And also I think hope and josie bring out the best in each other sometimes because of the way they comfort each other and care about each other and Hope never gives up on josie. But I definitely understand not shipping them and I'd honestly be very okay with hosie or hizzie but I do tend to lean towards hizzie.
