Allen also had two of the worst intentional grounding calls I've seen. One he was out of the pocket and his receiver blew the route (vs. Bengals) so instead of running a go, he ran a curl. The other was the same play against the Eagles where they didn't call horse collar, he threw the ball into the ground 6' away from a receiver, and they called grounding.

Hot take here, but the Justin Fields one was not a bad call. That hit from Owens was unavoidable and clean and should not have been flagged. If quarterbacks don't wanna get hit when running the ball, they shouldn't wait until the defender is less than a yard away to slide. When Aaron Rodgers ran the ball, he'd ways slide when the defenders were far enough away to avoid him because he knew a hit was coming and decided that a concussion wasn't worth the extra two yards he could've gotten

There are a few others affecting the Lions that I'm surprised didn't make the list. In the first Green Bay game, the clock ran out on the 3rd quarter yet the referees didn't blow the call dead. In the second, they called what was clearly a forward pass a fumble. In the Raiders' game, a goal line non-fumble was called a fumble. And, of course, there was the Chief's game, where even the commentators were mocking the refs for their blown calls.

Where’s the Danielle Hunter one where he gets flagged as his helmet is getting pulled off? That’s the worst one I have ever seen by far.

I don’t understand why the nfl can’t hire and train officials full time.

What where the 30 worst calls that actually looked quite good at first? Only when you look at it again (perhaps with the help of slo-mo) you realise that it is downright horrible.

6:00 It's not a false start. I can't remember why, but the rule book outlines exactly what I false start is, and this happens to not be a false start. Guys have been doing it for years.

6:55 is not a horse collar tackle. The Horse Collar is on the back of the jersey collar. Reddick did not grab it.
