1.5 year ago i saw an interview from DG, the next day i was going for a first run. I set the goal of running 14km with out stopping, i only will stop when me heartbeat will stop was my thought. I was suffering like hell, but finished it. Now 1.5 years later did 5 marathons with a pb of 2:59:36 and two 100kms with a pb of 9:26. Thank you David Goggins, you changed my life......

He truly is an incredible man. I’ve never felt confident until I heard his story - I’d always wanted to travel 400 miles to Scotland and climb 823 feet up Arthur’s Seat. After listening to him - I did it. So proud of myself - but would never have done it without listening to him.

Its just a motavational speach buddy. Dont put the guy on a pedalstal. He selling a deam. Reality is, their are abig organisation and companies running the world. I done everything in striving and motavation. From living on the streets since 15yo, drugs, prison. To have starting a LTD Company with CEOs asking to work for me and multi.millionaire investing in me It didnt matter though. I still never got whati wanted or needed,thatwas a family of my own,and to be respected and loved by my nieces. Some people have to live with suffering and pain.

I found Goggins 2 years ago when I was at my lowest and fell back down and now here I am and I won’t fall back down again atleast not to this level Goggins is a legend!!!

Man his mindset was the same mindset I had. I was so afraid of the journey. I was afraid of the work and how hard it was going to be. For years I thought like David. I'm 41 and I got to work. I don't care if it kills me. I went dark. Since I did that I lost 40 pounds. From 315 to 275!.

Been watching Goggins for a while and just picked up his book Ans started reading last night. Read 100 plus pages in until I was falling asleep. I was not ready for the beginning of this book and what he endured as a kid. This man is truly a gift to the world. He’s incredible. And sharing his mindset is selfless.

What can I say, this guy is incredible!!

I love how he is so honest about the good and bad, the constant struggle, it is what makes us strong, love this guy

He left everything in the past. Now living for the future. He only want to create his dreams. When your mind is clear and you have free time you can do anything and learn everything you want. You dont have to be motivated when you are actually living in the moment. Your goals and dreams are the motivation. Just remember nothing great comes in an instant. Hes so right, you dont know what your capable of til you try. I had a farm in my 60 ‘s and my husband got too sick to help me prune 600 hazelnut trees. I stood and looked at all those trees and thought “ well, baby steps and keep going” it took me 4 months using hand pruners for about 4/6 hours a day. I was so proud of myself and felt so fit.

I wish I would of found you years ago! Your heart is so beautiful and I can’t tell you how many times I play this for motivation! My ex-husband a former Sct.Sniper in the Marines active duty for Dessert Storm! Came home and we where thankful and proud! BUT BECAME A COP, HE GREW UP POOR and a lot of similar things I hear from your speech! He claimed once a marine always a marine, but cheating on your family, becoming greedy and the longer being a cop the tougher he thought he was! He needs a living autopsy! He came hope and forgot what it meant to fight for or face fears and become a better man because of it! 17 years and 10 great years, 4 good and 3 horrible! Thank you 🙏🏼 for sharing your story with me! I know there are still good guys, or for you with your faith in God, beyond good guys out there! It would also be cool to see high schools take on the curriculum a confidence/motivational/true life lessons and show these type of positive REAL life issues. Get these kids minds programmed from the start not to take on exactly what he is saying. Mind over matter been saying it for years and probably kept me from getting sick at age 21 lol. The mind is so powerful !

The core thing, that I take away from listening to David Goggins is... There is no Pinnacle! No Championship! No Arrival! Etc., etc. Even everyone in the comments, which I read a dozen or more. Everyone is inspired by David Goggins to achieve their "thing, goal, level of something." Then What!? What I am getting from David Goggins is...that's not it! Achieving...whatever! It's being in the Constant Process, not reaching the end, or goal, or whatever. It's being in the Constant Now! of pushing past your present now. Let me say it another way. We don't strive to breathe 10 times, a 100 times, a 1000 times to finally reach a point. It's ongoing for the rest of every second of your life. That's what David Goggins is trying to get people to think like. The goal is not the Object! The Process is!
