Just 30 minutes away from Fujairah, lies the hidden paradise of UAE. The beach that nobody knows of and Al Rafisah Dam.
It was Valentine's day and we decided to do something utterly romantic. I love hidden gems, unique experiences and secluded excursions. I decided to add all these ingredients to our day. We continued our exploration of the Emirate of Sharjah and its exclaves. However, these exclaves are quite far from Dubai, so we decided to spend the night in Fujairah. Fujairah is practially 30 minutes away from Khorfakkan. Fujairah is the perfect place to stay if you wish to spend a few days exploring Khorfakkan. In our previous video we went to Kalba and started exploring Khorfakkan. But in this one, we deep dive into more areas of Khorfakkan. We headed to the Rafisah Dam for a Kayaking trip and fed some ducks. Then we carried on to Khorfakkan corniche/Khorfakkan Beach for lunch. It was the most romantic spot we could find. It was sheer luck. We had no idea, we were going to have a meal on the beach itself. After than we made a swift stop to marvel at the gorgeous Khorfakkan Waterfalls. They are located on the main road itself. It is possible to view it from anywhere along the coast of Khorfakkan. Moving along, we decided to spend the sunset by the beach nobody knows about. It is called the Heart beach, also known as the secret beach of UAE. It took a bit of a light hike up and down the mountain to get to this secluded beach. The water was insanely cold but the fact that it was just two of us there, made it worthwhile. I must warn you that there are no cars allowed there. No signs that lead to it. No route, no map, no guide, no toilets, nothing. You have to be prepared if you wish to visit this beach. This beach, like everything else, is jsut 30 minutes away from fujairah.
