Pimple popping is just outright gross and I'll never understand the appeal of it. The worst you see with farrier videos is a very dirty hoof.

My dad had horses. Even as a kid, I would go to the barn when the farrier came. I loved watching it then, still love watching it.

Best video yet!!! I vote #1 - most satisfying to watch, you spoke, and the horse got the relief it deserves! If I had an ask it would be to see the horses before you start. Love to see their markings and faces 🥰

The # 1 best video ever. There is no constant talking just the sounds of the blade slicing and shaving the hoofs, so very tranquil and satisfying and from start to finish no have shoots , it was long and satisfying i loved it. Looking forward for watching more of your videos. Excellent work sir.

Maupin Speaks, and it's about time, and a good start! That first horse had some seriously overgrown hoofs on the front, but after some serious trimming, you got him off his heels, and on his toes! Good job (s) as usual! 🐎 👍 🇺🇲

Hello! I am not a farrier and have no experience of being a farrier. I am curious what the blow torch does different to the hoof when cleaning.

Thank you for sharing your trimming skills. I think every horse owner also needs to learn how to do this. When I owned horses when I was younger I could have saved tons of money if I had videos like this to help me learn this vital skill

#1 I love it when you cut layers off the bottom of the hoof. So satisfying!

Numbers 1 and 10 were my favorite... Number 1 because you took a seriously-overgrown hoof and gave the horse a perfect step back again! And number 10 because it was just so pretty at the end!

Numbers 1, 5, 7, and 9 were my favorites, but if I had to choose a single favorite it would probably be #1. Exceptional work on all.

It's a toss-up between number 7 and 9 for me.

Did #7 have a problem, looked kinda pink a little bit? And on #8 why use the blow torch? Sorry for the questions, just want to learn more about it.

How often do you have to do this trimming,shaving? Also it seems like a tremendous amount of material that needs to be taken off?

On video #1, what is the technique used to measure how much you can trim off?

I don't know anything about horses, haven't had one since I was very young...could you maybe explain what we are looking at as you go a bit? I am only a few minutes in and very interesting though. Thank you for sharing & taking good care of the horses.

How badly is this hoof over grown why is the v shape in the hood important and do you sharpen your own tools if so how or what do you use to put a nice edge on them? Sorry about all the ??????
