30-min Full-Body Seated Exercises for Seniors and Beginners using a Pilates Ball

This 30 min beginner level seated exercise program incorporates a warm-up, various exercises using a Pilates ball, playground ball or pillow; and also includes cardio, strength, posture and flexibility. This is a full-body program designed to give you a great overall workout from a chair. The entire workout is from a seated position. Links are added below for two types of Pilates balls.

This is a more expensive brand for a Pilates ball but is definitely the best one out of the ones I've tried. Unfortunately, I can't see to find a place where you can buy a single ball without the extras. This one comes with a ball and videos. Link: amzn.to/46iOeqf
This one is a cheaper one which works just fine. When pumping up the ball, don't pump it up all the way. Allow it to be slightly soft so it is easier to use. Link: amzn.to/3EtciKR

    So delighted to see a new ball workout, I actually went through your videos this morning to find a ball class,😊 which I did, I am recovering from foot surgery, so need all of the stretching and toning exercises I can do within reason. I enjoy your classes very much, thank you Jules.

    Thanks Bridget. I'm glad you're happy to see a new workout using a ball. I rarely use it simply because I know some people won't have a ball to use, but it definitely changes up the workout and gives some variety. Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed it.

    I dusted off my (rather squashy) pilates ball, and really enjoyed this. Love the change of pace after doing a full-on cardio workout, and getting a good stretch. Thank you Jules 😊

    Absolutely wonderful Jules. I waited until the end of my day and what a fantastic way to finish out my day. Every time I work out with you I learn something new. I never knew my little ball could be such a core and leg workout!! Absolutely wonderful. I needed to stretch today something awful and this absolutely delivered. Thank you immensely Jules.     This was a fun workout, Jules - enjoyed it! If you have time, could you do a senior upper body workout with dumbbells using a super slow lifting method please? Maybe an 8 second count when we lift the DB's upwards & the same amount of time when we lower them? That way, we can maintain tension in our muscles going in both directions. Thanks for all that you do for us seniors already!

    Wow Jules, this one was great, I really enjoyed it. I used my balls I have with the spikes, I got them from Dollar Zone.
