Hope to see more ferry ride clips like those japanese overnight ferry videos. Feels like the late 90's and early 2000's again. The engine rumble is indeed music to the ears. In future videos I hope you can invest in a proper mic setup to enhance the immersion. Just the right mix of engine, subtle vibration of the objects around you, crowd noise.... And copyrighted music 😆 uh oh.

I tried MNL-CGY trip and it was so funny that the front desk officer was announcing the often disembarkation announcement while in approaching Batangas port. Batangas is only a pick-up destination for boarding passengers, and the front desk should instead announce that passengers onboard must get ready for boarding of additional passengers and keep their surroundings clean, and not the tips on returning the keys and linens and thanking to choose 2GO. Meanwhile, for me Xavier has the best Island Fiesta among all 2GO ships for its swimming pool-like design made by blue sofas and blueish ceiling lighting, and Deck A & B corridors are wider than Masagana-Maligaya twin.

What class did you travel in?

Thanks for the informative vlog. I am keen to take the ferry after arriving from a 24-hour flight at Manila airport because flying to Iloilo might seem clever and cheap. Flights are often cancelled and I have had to sleep in the airport. My concern with travelling with this ferry is I might be sharing a berth with noisy people, watching TV etc. Also, the Karaoke seems to be very loud and I wonder if are there quiet areas on the ferry. Thanks.

I dunno if this is too late, but your best bet would be to get a private stateroom or suite, price is a bit steep (the rate is per room, good for 2 people) but you get some privacy and it’s not noisy at all. Otherwise the accommodations towards the aft, especially on the upper (A deck) will be pretty much free of the karaoke noise but you’ll be sharing the hall with a lot of passengers, which may or may not include crying babies and noisy kids running around.

May time na nagpasakay sila ng pasahero from Batangas to Cagayan de Oro, Tagbilaran, Puerto Princesa at Coron since last year. Pero nung nag drydock ang isa nilang barko parang tumigil muna pansamantala.

Pag 30 hours manila to Iloilo mabagal bapor o barko ito para sa mga ilonggo, dapat 18 hours lang. Dati William Lines manila to cebu 19 to 20 hours lang mas malayo ang cebu kay sa Iloilo.

Kita dito sa 18:37 na nag-port of call pa si SFX sa Batangas kaya naging 30 hours ang biyahe.

Kala ko meron na manita to tagbilaran

If i'm not mistaken they temporarily stopped serving the Tagbilaran(?) kasi si SFX nag substitute kay SMA kasi naka drydock pa sya :)
