There is so much vivid imagery throughout 'Kiko,' and "Saint Behind The Glass" paints a whimsical picture. How do you interpret the lyrics?
In an interview with Cleveland Scene Steve said, “The imagery is from Louie [Pérez's] childhood. It was in his mom’s home while growing up. He wanted to know what the world would look like from that perspective. Louie is in touch with his memory from a child, so the imagery comes from that."
Not only did Louie craft beautiful lyrics inspired by his childhood, but the tune features one of his rare vocal appearances!
