Personally speaking iof 30-06 sporting rifle is way better than the 315. Even the sound signature of the 30-06 is slightly less than the 315. The rounds of the 30-06 are made in Europe which results in smoother and more finished rounds

I saw here too many people saying.3006 is best weapon. I agree, Here .3006 is very good in the hand of marksman, but not in the hand of ameture. We have to see the wound cavity of both .3006 and .315 after that we should speak which is more dangerous. .315 rifle is used for specially for hunting and it is slow moving heavy weight round nose semi jacketed cartridge, which means when it hit some thing it tries to put all of its kinetic energy and mass on target which is very dangerous where as .3006 will give clean penetration which will be useful to get clean meat in hunting and clean shot mark in target paper. And one more thing if .315 semi jacketed bullet is used in war or on human being then their death is very painful. Kindly study ballasic science and human anatomy before judging any caliber or cartridge 🙂 I request to channel owner that if you feel this message is inappropriate then please delete this message.

@@harmanpreet_07 it's nothing about good or bad..... it's just about the effectiveness of the cartridge on target....where 30-06 will give you a clean shot & 0.315 will give you a bigger permanent cavity choice is yours depending on the purpose served.

In 90 percent 30 - 06 gun's there is an issue with the magazine. .315 is a all weather and 0 problem rifle.

Does the aluminum bolt on the 30-06 wear down in some rough use? Ps- I wish that semi automatics were legal in India. Even Canada has them (5 round mag capacity only, but still).

How do you know that IOF 30-06 Sporting Rifle bolts are made of Aluminum? No,it is made of high grade alloy steel finished by hard chrome plating for long life which further locks with the barrel directly.Only the body is of Aero grade aluminum alloy not taking any firing back thrust.

Nice rifles ! ENfields and derived models are always good, what you need to do for int'l customers is building a bolt-on trigger group to be adjustable... eventually interfacing with one of the classical producers like Timney, Jewel, etc. 😉

What are rules in india for civilian gun ownership? Here in Pakistan every thing is which is not automatic is allowed on licenses for civilians.... These bolt actions are just for recreational shooting here. For sd and hd we can get any thing from mp5 to g3 but only semi auto.
