Awh, sorry to hear you are going through the longing for a child without it happening too. Can imagine it feels even harder when having done IVF and it didnt succeed, but it is all in Gods hands. Who knows. Maybe He is protecting us from a situation that would be worse, we dont have all the answers on this side of eternity, but we know we can trust His goodness and love for us, and as you say - He never fails.

I have heard about people who is wanting for a blessing from God, how exciting that there blessing came then them are giving up! I have also experienced this in some areas! Then you give up then it will come! I believe that then you give up this child will come! I have also heard that some people have gotten children then them giving up to get children or more children!

Thanks for your comment :) and I know what you mean, I have also experienced that in other areas (for example when I met my husband! It was shortly after I had fully surrendered and 'giving up' the idea of finding someone hehe). We will see what happens :)

We keep coming back to the adoption conversation in our family as well, and while we are unsure if/when that would happen, one thing we did decide early on is that whoever we do take into our family, they would need to be younger than our biological children. We would want our 2 children to be the older brothers, it just seems that it would disrupt the flow of things a lot less. One day hopefully, it’s something we are praying about. But yes adoption in the U.S. can also be complicated and very expensive sometimes..but the Lord can certainly provide a way if that is His will! thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, and for the encouragement you provide other families in the same situation! 🫶Blessings

There is a 10year difference between me & my younger sister, there are only 2 of us, no other siblings. It just happened that way. My parents did not lose any babies in between. I loved it when she was born. To me she was a real life doll! Of course in the beginning, 1st 20 yrs or so, we had v little in common. But things change, & we're close, & the age difference doesnt make a difference. Just trust in the Lord, & let things take their course. Elionai is a lovely boy! Blessings from Singapore.

Benefits of large age gap, for me was having my parents' uninterrupted attention for 10 years! But seriously, all my cousins had siblings & I wanted a sister or brother too! But, it's also good there wasn't much of a competition between my sister & me, as our interests were different in our younger growing up years. Now, I'm 80 & she's 70 & we're close & have been for years. And we were fortunate to have our parents with us, till they passed away, both in their 90s. Do stop by in Singapore if you can. It's a good introduction to Asia....

@@primroselim6897 Yes I can imagine most kids would like to have a sister or brother if they dont - Im glad though that our son has not yet really expressed that want (he loves all our friends babies or younger children though! So I know he would be a great big brother and truly love it!). But yes, 10 years of getting the undivided attention of the parents I think is doing a lot for ones security and learning etc (if its good and loving parents ofc), so that is a plus :) Glad to hear you got a lot of time with your parents, that they got that old both of them! Amazing :)

I don’t see the post that I wrote yesterday. But, I came to Wildwood today to see if I could figure out which herb that the herbalist said that his wife used after they had tried to conceive for several years & she became pregnant right away. I believe he said that she took Chaste Tree Berries.

Oh how strange that the comment disapeared. I did not take anything away and didnt see it. But perhaps you had a link in it or a reccomendation of a person that might have been cen.srd? That has happened to me, that the comments have disapeared for that. But it stays for like 2 minutes so you think that it has been posted, but then its suddenly gone :o Thank you for looking it up! How did she take that? How much etc? If you remember.

@@katjasandelin Oh, I did put a link in it to Herbalist Lee Willards his store website, by the name of American. He & his wife had tried getting pregnant for several years with no luck. After they return to Wildwood, he heard about the success people had had with chaste berry. They tried it, and she got pregnant right away. He also has several videos here on KZread if you want to watch he tells about this a number of times. Anyway, I wish the best for both of you and I am praying for you daily

So many children are abused beause of the foster system and adoption...why keep that door open? I believe that if you really want to help children, then help their parents. Imagine if you were in need of help but someone just decided to take your child away and put you in jail. This is happening and it's terrible.

  • @katjasandelin

Yes I see what you mean, and the thought have come to me too, that I dont want to support the backside of that system... unfortunatley everything can be used both for good and evil, and sadly most things are more used for evil in our world :/ but at the same time there are many children that actually need another home because of real abuse or because they are orphans, so it is good that there are goodhearted and safe families for those children to come to. So Im feeling a bit double about it to be honest. But most likely we will not go down that path anyway.

Mary is His Mother, and Our Mother. Now I understand why you are having difficulty. Open the doors that are closed to Love. John 19:26-27 From the Cross Jesus spoke: 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[a] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home. @@katjasandelin

A thought that came to me during the video: you guys said that you believe if God wanted, He could lile open your womb lets say...which i agree of course. But isnt this the same as with the adoption option? I mean, even if its super hard and nearly impossible in Norway as you guys described, couldnt God make it happen if He wanted to? Just encouraging you to not give up on it IF by any chance one day you come to a point where you feel adoption is something you would want. GOD BLESS!😇🫂🌷

Hi :) thank you for your thought and input, yes you are right in that if God sees it being best for us to adopt He is also able to open up the doors for that - He is able 🙏🤗 so the question would be what His will is for us, and at what timing. We are open for what He would lead us to - but if it would be the adoption option He would need to make that very clear in a way that we understand hehe. Im curious to see where we are at in 5 years. But am also not surprised if it is so close to Jesus second coming that God finds it better for us to focus on ministry and the family we have for the time being left. We will see :) Thank you again for reaching out with your thought, apriciate it! May God bless you 🤗❤
